I like this sponge. Have been using it for a while now (month?) and it shows no signs of wear, It is used multiple times a day to wash dishes, scrub pots and pans, and clean off the countertops. Since it shows no signs of wear at this time, I consider it to be good value for the money. It is a comfortable size to handle, rinses out easily, and dries relatively quickly. This 6 pack should last me for a year, perhaps longer.

Personally, I am not a fan of any kitchen sponge. I think it's mainly because they're disposable, and I have found using a good kitchen dish cloth works just as well if not better than a sponge, and you can throw it in the washer. My husband, however, will not touch a dish unless he has a kitchen sponge. For years we had been using the scotch bright yellow ones. I'm talking we bought them in huge quantity from Sam's....but they would only last a week or so before we had to dispose of them (and the smell, ugh). These OCedar sponges are like a breath of fresh air. They clean dishes really well, they scrub pots and pans extremely well and they don't scratch either. They don’t smell, the scrubbing part does not disintegrate and they last a very long time before they need replaced, and mainly that's because I think geez I can't remember when we last replaced these, so I'll bring out a new one. These are really great value for the quality of the sponge and the length of time that they last. Plus they really just work well. I would purchase them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them!

Works well, last longer than the spongy stuff

Love these. Growing up in the 60's things would last alot longer... Like bars of soap, today's just disappear in about a couple of weeks. When they used to last over a month. Same with sponges. Manufacturers now make products with planned obsolescence--- i.e., engineered to wear out in a relatively short period of time, so they can make more money. I stopped using the "scottish" sponges because they literally fell apart in a few days. Researched and found these with good reviews. I am here making my 2nd order, my first was on March 27th, 2024!! I just started using my 5th sponge of 6 I bought. I will easily get a year's worth of work with these sponges with a 6-pack. Reading some reviews they say the new ones are starting to fail. I sure hope not!! TIP: to reduce smell & deterioration, firmly squeeze any water out of the sponge when done. If you leave water in any sponge it will stink. Love these sponges. Even well worn like the one I just threw away, still doing it's job. But, still looking for long lasting soap bar... right now using double cold pressed soaps. Amish bar soap was great, bought it on sale, too expensive at regular price. O-Cedar Scrunge rocks!

I love these sponges! They hold water well and are absorbent, unlike other brands. They don’t leave behind large amounts of liquid and the surface you wipe with them is nearly dry. I’ve used these for at least a decade and will continue to do so for as long as they’re available! I wash them in the dishwasher with every other load or so and they last months each. Highly recommend!

I bought these thinking that they'd be like all of the other sponges that I buy and try SO hard to keep clean (the smell) and end up dishwashing constantly and then throwing them out after a short time. These are actually FANTASTIC! I had zero expectations for these sponges because I'm VERY diligent about totally rinsing/squeezing/drying my sponges with cold water and ensuring all soap is out of them to prevent that nasty smell they inevitably get....but with other sponges, it just doesn't help. The dishwasher gets the smell out, but it's back days later if my son or significant other forgets to rinse even once. These are TOTALLY smell-free! I have been using the same one since I bought this package and there has been zero scent and I haven't even needed to throw it in the dishwasher once!! I'm so excited because I'm really sensitive to smells and am so tired of checking on...sponges(?) when I have better things to do. Not only do these stay smell-free....but they rinse out really easily and the scrubby side doesn't fray or wear down. The sponge has a "smooth" feeling that's hard to describe, but I'm guessing is somehow involved in how these stay free of bad smells and mold (maybe a coating?) I thought I was buying basic sponges and ended up being able to get rid of the many sponges that I'd keep out in the rotation while others were being cleaned/dried. Now I just have one of these on my sink that I use for everything and there's NO need to worry about mold/smells or any sort of maintenance. I can't even believe how great the price is considering you get a huge package of these and won't need to throw them away or have "back ups" since they work so well. They lather up as easily as they rinse and they dry quickly, too. Plenty of power to scrub in these sponges and the quality is evident as soon as you get them out and feel/use them. I hope they make these forever so that I never have to put a smelly sponge in the dishwasher, microwave, or trash can again! AWESOME and highly recommend! ***Update May 24th*** I'm STILL on the first sponge of this pack! No wear on the "scrub" area, no smell, no need to sterilize in the dishwasher/microwave and I still have 5 left! Smelly sponges is a huge "gross" factor in my kitchen stress and I'm amazed at this sponge. I don't know what they did differently, but when the teen and adult guys in my household leave it wet and full of soap.... still no smell. And the scrubby side looks like brand new after months of heavy use!

When I first was looking for a new sponge and reading the reviews, all I thought was "it's a freaking sponge!" Now, after months of using them, I can honestly say WOW!. The reason I was looking around at sponges is because the cheap ones would start to stink within days. I have a sensitive olfactory system. The oder coming off of the sponges would overwhelm it. So I figured there had to be a better product out there. Well, I found it. Not only do they not stink after use, they last! The scrubbing side lasts and takes a beating. I will never buy another brand. It's a great "freaking sponge!"

These are the best sponges and hard to find in stores. The scrubby side is a unique bumpy shape and material. They scrub all surfaces well, and most importantly they rinse clean very easily. The sponge side is a standard sponge, so absorbency is fine and comparable to most other cellulose sponges.
