Edit: 10/5/2022 I stand by my original review however after a couple weeks of usage I have one major complaint. This antenna can not be placed on a window. The heat from sun melts the adhesive holding it together and the antenna comes apart at the seem. This is extremely unfortunate given the quality of signal and other feature this provides. Will try to find a way to permanently adhere both sides.This digital hd antenna is by far one of the best I have used. Not only did the antenna and inline amplifier bring me 50+ channels it picked up all my channels from PlutoTV, Crackle, Xumo etc and added them to the guide. This was an unexpected bonus that I was thrilled with. The reception is excellent with no interruption in the signal. The hd picture is crisp and clear, true HD quality. In regards to setup, it is pretty much plug and play. Connect the coaxial cable and scan for channels on your tv. The cable is fixed to the antenna but it is approx. 10’ long so no issue there. You may have to move the antenna a little bit for it to pick up the most channels. This was not the case for me. There is also a button on the diffuser that you can switch from long and short range depending on how far you are located from a tower. After finding the perfect location for antenna, simply attach it to the wall or window with the provided 3M adhesive. I highly recommend this HD antenna to anyone looking for an alternative to cable and an addition to your streaming subscriptions. Given the quality and affordable price you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend!!

you can go crazy trying to find a good antenna. So many misleading things are said about them. Most antenna will basically pick up within the same distances. However, there are many things that can interfere with transmitted signals, and some may vary at different times, such as weather and cellphones. The best thing to do is to go to a TV tower web site such as tvfools.com and see what stations are available at a reasonable location. This is the best you can hope for. I have tried several antennas of the years they all provided reception to the major stations within a 12-20 distance. This was mainly through flat, residential and city locations. In buying this particular one, I reviewed some of the reviews for build quality and if there were any major issues beside those stated about reception. Those I pretty much ignored. Every location is different, and how an antenna works will be also. It was pretty intuitive to connect and get working. No special skill or knowledge necessary ;o). I bought this to replace an antenna I built (photo attached of a double 8). I actually used this in my basement because I could not get decent reception from a store-bought antenna through solid concrete walls and underground. I moved the TV upstairs and did not want the monster in the room. This antenna I set on a wooden rod that I could rotate to find the best direction. Ultimately, it still picked up the same stations as mine down in the basement with comparable quality. Since I did not expect to get a 250+ mile range (chortle) I was not disappointed in what I got, but probably why I gave it a 4 was for misleading advertisement. All of my stations are within 20 miles. The next closest is 40 miles and nothing picks it up (not even mine in the basement). So, keep your expectations within reason when you go an indoor antenna such as this.

This is the best digital antenna! This is my 2nd one. I bought the first one in the black color a few years ago for my living room tv. I had been dependent on high-priced cable for many years and a coworker told me about digital antennas and how I could save money. I had just bought a Firestick for streaming but I wanted my local channels too. I found this antenna while searching on Amazon and decided to try it out before ditching the cable altogether. I couldn’t believe how fast and easy the install was and how many channels I got with it. Not only did I have my local ones, but I had a lot more. I was so excited when I turned my cable box in for good! I’ve saved so much money. Fast forward to now and I finally bought a 40 inch TV for my bedroom. I purchased another Firestick for it and there was no question what digital antenna I would buy for it. I went right back and bought this same U Must Have digital antenna, this time in the white color because I was hanging it on the wall. I didn’t even look at other antennas because I’ve loved this one so much for the last few years. When the professional tv installer came to hang my new tv on my bedroom wall, he also installed the antenna for me at the same time. He also couldn’t believe how easy it was and after raving about this product and it’s features so much, he took pics of the box it came in so he could go on Amazon and buy one too. He said he has customers asking about digital antennas all the time and because of my recommendation he would definitely pass this on. I am so happy with this antenna and tell everyone I can when cutting the cable cord conversations come up. This is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. If you’re looking for a fantastic digital antenna, buy this one!! You won’t regret it and you’ll save lots of money by ditching cable!
