シンセサイザーとしてはシンプルな構成でオシレータ、フィルター、アンプ、エンベローブ(ADSR)、LFOと一通りの基本機能が揃っており、安心して使用できますし、あまり詳しくない方でも基本を押さえた構成なので学習用にもとてもよいかと思います。 パッチングが必要ですが、ウェーブフォルダーやサンプルアンドホールド、アッテネータなどもついていてこの小さな筐体としては機能満載です。 ウェーブフォルダーについてはこの機種の特徴の一つで、面白い音が出せます。（Labyrinthのウェーブフォルダーとは少し使い方が違います）フィルターもMOOGらしくていいですね。 MIDIがついていないため、他のシンセやSQ-1、CV対応のMIDIコンやシーケンサなどのCVに対応した機器が必要になります。 一応鍵盤はついていますが、演奏には向きません。が、トランスポーズ用に使う分には便利だと思います。 LFOとS+Hがあるので自走で音を鳴らすことも可能ではあります。 パッチングはもう少し欲しいと思うところもありますが、小さな筐体で一通りの機能がそろっていて音もよい感じなので使い道はいろいろありそうです。 MOOG価格かなと思うところもありますが、安い時に買えばコスパはそれほど悪くないかと思います。 動画は自走させた例です。

got it! IT WAS FUN BUILDING IT. it works great. i cant believe how tightly packed everything looks, the circuit boards is beautiful. the buttons are actually rubber so its nice af feeling. so happy.

Le Moog Mavis est une très belle surprise. N’ayant pas le budget pour un Moog plus haut de gamme, j’ai trouvé ici un synthé à la fois abordable et musicalement riche. Sa sonorité est immédiatement identifiable, avec cette chaleur propre à Moog, malgré une architecture relativement simple. Je l’utilise souvent avec mon Stylophone CPM DS-2 : la combinaison des deux permet d'explorer des textures étonnantes et décuple les possibilités créatives. J’apprécie aussi beaucoup les patches fournis, en particulier ceux conçus par Lisa Bella Donna : très inspirants, ils montrent bien ce que l’instrument a dans le ventre. Le format est compact, idéal pour les petits espaces ou l’intégration dans un setup modulaire. Le fait de le monter soi-même donne un rapport particulier à l’instrument. En somme, un très bel objet, mais surtout un vrai instrument de musique expressif et surprenant.

Stunning sounds from this simple to learn synth. Just what my 74yo brain needed. I had already bought a s 1 Roland which is good but didnt let me grasp the basis of synthesis. only have reverb on my mixer but that is enough with the Moog Mavis. I have the the Novation SL61MK3 that works great with the Mavis
