Solid and sturdy, but a little heavy.
I wanted a heavy, strong walking stick for added stability but also for defense if needed against dogs. Most walking sticks are too light and flimsy, so this serves my needs well. Just know that it is a bit heavier than most if you are looking for a light walking stick. Good stick overall.

Just a walking stick
Straight up walking stick. No frills. Good finish but without a wrap can get slippery in wet environments. Perfect for a do-it-yourself outdoor person who has the ability to put a wrap on it. Overall? Good walking stick for someone who is not interested in frills. Worth it.

Basic walking stick. Well finished. Works as advertised. (hey, its a stick...)
Good basic walking stick with decent finish and leather wrist loop to lightly secure the stick to one's hand. It could use a paracord wrap for better hand grip, so I'll wrap one on myself. I did an after-purchase addition of a paracord wrap to my mom's 47" stick, which she prefers to the "naked" stick.

Cracked upon arrival
Received this item with a crack through the middle of the top half of it. Got a splinter in my hand the first time I held it. It looks like an expensive broom handle- which I am actually ok with - I am more dissatisfied with the crack.

Great
Nice straight lightweight hiking stick. I sanded mine down and stained it cherry and then applied about 5 coats of tung oil. Turned out nice.
