Assembly is pretty awful
Haven't finished installing it, but it looks good so far.I really need to bring up the assembly process. The instructions are very unclear on both the mechanical and electrical installation. Some wires have come with their ends twisted together. A couple wires twisted together, to me, means those wires are supposed to stay together. Untwisting stranded wire is pretty annoying. However, the twisted couple consists of one black and one white wire. Both ends of the light have been connected, creating a short at the twisted portion. If I connected this pair to hot, I'm pretty sure the wire would just melt and cause a fire unless the breaker saved it. I feel like one wire from each light should be twisted together, as that would help me rather than give me more work. The instructions tell us to label each wire as "A" or "B", disregarding wire color. There is no good way to draw a label on such small wires without having unusual supplies. If anyone's curious, these are 300V 20AWG wires.Other messy things: some white wires have been painted black. Some bare strands are covered in black paint, which would create a poor electrical connection. A few wires were not stripped, and wire strippers are not a tool a normal person would have.Visually, a few of the decorative pieces of metal are very soft. One of the leaves I had, had half their tips bent 180°. Thankfully, I could bend them back without snapping anything. This review is a little premature, but the assembly has been concerning. Assuming I give 5 stars for the appearance. My overall rating would be closer to 3.5 stars due to assembly.

Pretty light fixture, but a few flaws...
I actually really like the appearance of this light and consider it a good value for the price, but am giving it only three stars for a couple of reasons. First of all, it was a challenge to put together. The instructions are sketchy at best and even though I had our contractors assemble and wire the light, it took two of them a couple of hours to get it hung and another 45 minutes fooling around with hanging the crystals. I had to restring some of the crystals and finish the crystal installation myself. The picture in the instructions and on the Amazon product description page is a little misleading, because it is shown with more "bead" crystals than actually comes with the light. This caused some confusion when trying to string all the crystals together with the little wire fasteners (all the crystals and bead crystals arrive loose and you have to puzzle them together yourself). The manufacturer includes a pair of white gloves you are supposed to wear when hanging the crystals to keep them from getting full of fingerprints, and while a nice idea, it does not work because the gloves are really cheap and have a loose weave. The little wire hangers constantly snag on the gloves and you will end up discarding them within a few minutes. The main wrought iron supports are sturdy and well made, but the decorative parts (curliques and leaves)are really thin and several of them were bent upon arrival. They bent back into shape with only a little wrinkle here or there, but still... Also the round "saucer" pieces that are at the base of the candles have predrilled holes where several crystals dangle. These holes do not all line up perfectly, causing some of the crystals to brush against the supports and not hang exactly right. Even thought I had a few complaints, once the light installation was complete I was pleased with my purchase. You could pay a whole lot more for less attractive light fixtures.NOTE: I am going to upload a few pics of our finished light. We only have three of the twelve bulbs installed right now, and as a previous reviewer mentioned, I had my installer change out our light switch to a dimmer. This baby will throw lots of light!

Some good, some bad...
I was dead set on this product because it was exactly what I was looking for. I bought three black chandeliers and this one looked perfect for my design. Once assembled it's easy to install.Pros: Looks great now that it's fully assembled and in place.Cons: Product arrived in two boxes on two different days. Metal parts were fine and had assembly instructions with it. Second box had 1/3 of the expected glass parts and the assembly instructions were different one with different labels which made communication difficult with the seller. After contacting the seller (very reactive) I got most of the missing parts and since I had too many of some parts and not enough of other parts I made it work.

My heart skipped a beat
I've been looking for a chandelier for my kitchen for quite some time. I loved the looks of this one but had no idea how it would look in my kitchen above my island. I ordered it because of the favorable reviews and I'm glad I did.I didn't find it difficult at all to assemble. As a hairdresser, I can't imagine why others have had such difficulty but I just took my time and studied the image before I started. At first I had my electrician hang it lower, just about 30" above my island, but as I looked at it - it seemed to fill up my entire kitchen. I've since had it raised quite a bit and it looks much better since my kitchen is on the smaller side (12x20). I'm thankful for my 9' ceilings, I think it would have been a bit much for the kitchen if I had 7' ceilings. It is a larger chandelier, something to be mindful of when considering this one.I'm very pleased about the price point of this piece, if you've priced others at all you'll soon appreciate its' value.I did take other reviewers advice and have my electrician install a dimmer - it's so bright it's nice to turn it down and enjoy its' beauty without squinting.I went to get a glass of water before I crawled into bed and as I walked into my kitchen my heart skipped a beat at its beauty. I love it and couldn't be happier, I'm sure we'll have a long future together.
