WIMBERLEYAP-604 Replacement Lens Foot for Canon 400 f2.8 is I and II and 600 f4.0 is I and II - Arca-Swiss Style - Made in USA

There was a slight fit problem with the Nikon Lens, which could be the lens. The customer service rep. was second to none, willing to do anything it took to resolve the issue. I needed a quick solution; I am on vacation in Florida which is a great place for bird photography. I couldn't be happier with Wimberley.

This would have been a great product had it included padding on the reverse side just like the original foot from the 600 f4. The low profile and sturdy feel make it an okay option for replacing the factory foot from Sony.

Pricy, but worth it. It’s perfect.

This has the same fit as my SmallRig Plates so I can swap this in and out of all of my tripods without having to adjust the set screws. The only issue is that I would have appreciated a small amount of thread locker installed in the screw to keep it locked to the body, but I picked up a tube for a few bucks and solved that myself. Also, the screws that prevent it from sliding out of an Arca-Swiss Quick Release plate are screws and I would have preferred the pins found in Small Rig Plates, that are spring-loaded, But in the Grand Scheme of things, neither of these nitpicks are enough to drop my rating. Excellent Product and works Beautifully.

Removes the worry of the catch on the original foot of the Nikon 500mm f5.6E PF ED VR being activated accidentally. This solid Wimberley replacement foot functions as an Arca-Swiss style quick release plate or can be screwed directly onto the threaded stud of a monopod or other lens support equipment.The steel roll pin that is supplied with the foot looks a rather odd addition, but is easy to insert and ensures that the replacement foot fits solidly.The Wimberley replacement foot is well engineered, is good value and arrived quickly.

I bought this for a Nikon f5.6 PF 500mm. It is extremely easy to install and is very sturdy.

I love it. Great quality. Sturdy. Bought it to go with Wimberley gimbal, and a Sigma 150-600mm. I'm glad I opted for this design over the one other Wimberley option for this lens. You remove the plate that comes with the lens, and attach the Wimberley. I use it on the tripod and often handheld.On the tripod, the Wimberley Gimbal is a pleasure. You balance it, loosen the 3 rotational directions, and if feels smooth and like the camera is floating. Off the tripod, the top rotation adjustment lets you move it to any orientation. I usually have it at the bottom, and have my left hand extended under the plate which gives good stability and easy on the wrist.

Great foot for my 500mm. Makes me feel alot more comfortable with it over the original foot

You can not use as a handle ... to close to the barrel.

本来54FLは対象外となっておりますが、フード逆付けで丁度接触するのでつけられないことはなく塑性変形するほどフードを歪めることもありません。細ネジと太ネジ1箇所ずつなのが不服ですが目的は果たせたので概ね満足しています。

今回、初めてウィンバリーの三脚座を買いました。元々は他メーカーの製品をよく使っていた私が趣旨替えをしたのは理由があります。今まで使っていたゴーヨンから新規のニーヨンヨン（ちょっと違うけど）に変更したのです。社外品でアルカ互換の三脚座は幾つかありますが、レンズ本体との接合部が共通なのが災いしてか、最近は焦点距離を問わず共通化されてしまっている三脚座があります。純正品が各レンズ毎の相性によって変更している場合は、当然合う合わないが出てきますよね。さて、ニコンの180-400/4（+ｘ1.4）の場合、純正の三脚座はニーニー用を参考に新規に作られてます。小ぶりで高さも低めの純正はなかなか良いのですが、いざアルカ互換のものを探すとなると、某社の製品はゴーヨン等と共用なので取り付け高さが随分と上がってしまい、その座面の高さと長さが邪魔をしてしまってズームリングの操作に支障が出る始末でした。純正が専用品を作ったんだから、共用に無理があるのはちょっと考えれば判りそうなものなのに、ねえ・・・仕方ない、と色々と探して調べた結果、今回のap-551が一番良さげに思えたので購入した次第です。高さは純正とほぼ等しく、長さも程良いので操作の邪魔には感じません。ただ、滑り止めになる部位が無いので、フィールドで手持ちで使う場合には不安なので星４つまで。対策として、私は屋外用のステップの滑り止めテープを一部張り付けています。本格的なテストはまだですが、なかなか良さげな感じですよ。
