Plattenspieler kann nur für Fans zu empfehlen fast :-) brauchen und deshalb gebe ich volle Sterne.

Der besondere Plattenspieler hält mit der entsprechenen Lackierung, was er verspricht. Allerdings ist er sehr spartanisch ausgestattet, so dass man die Umdrehung per manueller Riemenumlegung verändern kann. Der Ein- und Auschalter liegt unter dem Gehäuse, allerdings kann man mit dem Tonabnehmer weder das Anlaufen noch das Stoppen des Plattentellers beeinflussen. Schade,,,, die Platte läuft endlos.Der Kunststoffdeckel steckt lediglich locker in der Halterung, so dass er bei Einhandbedienung auch mal aus der Führung rückwärtig herausrutscht. Der Deckel wies leichte Kratzer auf.Sonst läuft er einwandfrei und klingt sehr gut.

I purchased this turntable for my wife as she is a fan of Queen. We've been spinning vinyl for over 30 years on a vintage Pioneer and Sony turntable. This Rega is the first new turntable we've ever purchased.Unpacking through set up took less than 20 minutes. It powered up fine and all seemed in order, ready to play.What I did notice was a small amount of mechanical motor noise, like a scraping sound with each platter rotation. Turning the volume up on the amps revealed that some of this noise made it's way into the audio, but was very minimal. Over the last day and half, we've put at least 15 hours of use on this Rega, and the motor noise is now completely gone. Clearly a bit of a "break-in" may be needed on some of these.Physical fit and finish is perfect on everything. It's quite an impressive looking turntable. We cover our decks with clean linen cloth, so we left the factory wrap on the plastic cover and stored it in the shipping carton.Amazingly, the supplied Rega Carbon cartridge sounded wonderful, even though it has a conical tipped stylus. We could live with it if we had to, but we upgraded it with an Audio-Technica AT440MLb cartridge. The light weight, low mass tone arms on these Rega decks work well with high compliance cartridges like the AT440 and similar types. With the AT cartridge the audio is full, with good pace, smooth highs, and very satisfying bass. This Rega sounds better than our other two turntables with this same cartridge,and is now our best sounding turntable.Because the minor motor noise disappeared, we give this "Queen" Rega a full 5 stars. LP audio from this Rega turntable should satisfy those just starting out with vinyl, and with a cartridge upgrade it will satisfy most seasoned vinyl enthusiasts. A Recommended Buy!

A gift for my husband to get him back into record playing with his large collection (he had sold his high end audio years ago when the kids were little). For the price, it was a great way to get him reintroduced to his hobby. He loves it! I'm sure in another 1-2 years he'll upgrade but for now it's perfect!

I love my Queen by Rega Research Limited Edition RP 1 Turntable. I have wanted a Rega Research Turntable for a very long time. The sound is superb. I will be purchasing the RP 1 Performance Pack soon to upgrade the phono cartridge to the Rega Bias 2 Phono Cartridge. This turntable will last me a very long time. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to get back into Vinyl.

Unit ran flawlessly right out of the box. Very well packed. Even the pre-installed phono cartridge sounds good. I still use my old Yamaha (Direct Drive table) with a Grado "red"installed with my early 1970's equipment. It has a little bit of a warmer sound. But the belt driven Rega Unit runs quieter. I do have to remove the felt record mat, on the Rega by Queen, to show off the Queen logo. For the price... highly recommended. Thanks Rega and Amazon

I have a high end stereo system and the turntable does not seem to have the output I expected. I have to turn the volume up more than halfway to get the same loudness as I get from my CD player as 1/8 the volume level. May have to add additional equipment to get the boost of sound that I want. Plastic dust cover had fine scratches when I removed it from the package. Love the way it looks. Set up very easy.

This is absolutely beautiful piece of art.It does look great. But sound is not up to the look. The platters made of MDF, very light to compensate motor noise. it may be great to build boing.Price is OK. I hope my review will be helpful.
