Very challenging and fun
I have loved doing ken ken or calcudoku for many years. So I consider myself a little bit of an expert and enjoy the more challenging puzzles. This was definitely challenging. Half of the book had all of the math signs in it and the other half does not. I enjoyed both. Sometimes one puzzle would take me several days but I’d enjoy working on it a little bit at a time. if you’re a beginner in these puzzles, I would not go for this book, but maybe one of the easier books by the same author. I am just about finished with all 300 puzzles, and I’m trying to buy another book by the same creator.

Not for the beginner.
Very good puzzles and for the advanced KenKen enthusiast. However, the puzzles are two to a page and too small for me to make notations while solving them. I had to scan and reprint them on my computer to use them. I'd happily pay the same amount for these very interesting and challenging puzzles for half the number of puzzles printed one to a page.

Puzzles 151-300 are operationless - not mentioned on cover or book description
I love KenKen puzzles, and just completed puzzle 150. I was quite surprised and disappointed to turn the page and discover the remaining 150 puzzles in the book are Operationless. I don't enjoy those puzzles and don't find them relaxing like I find the puzzles with Operations. Some are obviously multiplication or subtraction. But it requires an elevated degree of logic and thought and deductive reasoning which is OK in itself; but after working a full day, isn't particularly relaxing. The book cover and description on Amazon should have indicated this because the second half of the book is wasted on me. It should have been described that way and I wouldn't have purchased it.

These are hard
I’ve done hundreds of “difficult” Will Shortz kenkens and consider myself pretty good at them, and these are difficult for me. They take a while, often a couple of sittings. There are 2 on each page, which isn’t ideal, but not that big of a deal either. There are 300 puzzles total, so this should last a long time for me.

Excellent puzzle book
I really like the challenging puzzles and that half the puzzles have operation symbols and have do not. The half without the operation symbols add a higher degree of difficulty which I really enjoy. I also have the first degree book which is also outstanding.

Small boxes
Great puzzles. But they should nyhave 2 puzzles on 2 page. Very hard to work in small boxes
