Quality Tool
Works well for my sheet metal bending projects. Easy to use and make your bends accurately. Plus it being a Crescent tool you know it’s made to last.

Nice small metal bender
Bought this to bend panels for a hidden fastener roof and this is my first time using a tool like this. I have used a 10 foot brake but this is easier and quicker for smaller lengths. It I limited to 1/4 inch up to 1 inch bend which met my needs. I’ve bent at least 30 pieces and it has worked flawlessly. I would buy again but I don’t think I’ll need to. It will last for what I need.

Love it!
Wow! Perfect for residential flashing work on my windows! Very sturdy and easy to use for homeowner level flashing repairs. I bent them like a pro! Granted it isn't a $2,000 metal brake, but you can creep the tool along the sheet metal and bend a longer piece to fit your opening needs. VERY happy with this quality bending tool!

Max of 26 gauge steel
It works very well on 26 gauge steel. I made beautiful 1/2" Drive Seams and 1" Slips Flanges with this tool. I would have given 5 Stars if not for listing as ok for heavier gauges. I tried bending 22 gauge and couldn't get enough leverage to bend.

Does a Great Job.
I am roofing a Gazebo with a very complex roofing plan (all angles in increments of 15 degrees). This would work better with a $500.00 metal brake but I don't do roofing for a living so this is my cheap replacement. As such it is excellent for a home craftman. It is still as good as new after shaping over 30 sheets of thick guage galvenized pieces. NOT for professionals however. It will wear you out because it doesn't have a handle for extra leverage when bending heavy guage metal. Great tool for my purposes.

Injured me and made me flip out
This product worked fine for the first bend. The second bend it split in two, causing me to get a nice little laceration on my hand. So I bolted it back together using some 1/4” hardware and went back to bending some roofing metal. Then it slipped out of place as the structural integrity of the bender had been compromised, causing me to be injured again but worse in the same spot as well as ruining a piece of my materials. Have you ever been lacerated in a fresh laceration? Lemme tell ya, it feels tremendously phenomenal. So, between a reinjured injury and a ruined piece of expensive material, as well as working long hours, a 3 hour daily commute and a sometimes tedious second job, I lost it. I threw the bender about 40 yards across my property and then smacked it a couple times with a hammer to show the inanimate object who’s boss around here. My family wasn’t impressed with my behavior just as I am not impressed with this item. A loss all around.
