UPDATE: The seller contacted me to rectify the situation and offered a replacement torch. This arrived quickly and was communicated well. The replacement did not experience the same issue as the original so it must be that the original issue was specific to that particular one. The seller provided technical information to reduce concerns over the safety.I appreciated the customer service. I will keep the original review text in place so people can see what the problem was and how it was resolved by the seller.ORIGINAL: Received this torch yesterday. After fully charging and using it for 5 minutes the lens fogged up meaning the battery is de-gassing or there is moisture in the device. This is quite concerning for a high capacity lithium power source in a metal tube. Need advice from the seller to see if I have a bomb on my hands or not.

Brought for dog walking through woods, great beam, only use it on low, lasts approx 2.5 hours on full charge which is 5 walks then charges overnight. When the indicator gets down to 3, the beam does fade slightly but is still good, even down to 1, but worth carrying a spare torch in case it automatically shuts down, I wanted to see how long it would last so kept using it. Full beam is fantastic but not worth using for my walks and would obviously reduce the time available. The charge indicator is great and it is going to save me a small fortune on AA batteries as I was using 4 every 3 - 4 weeks in my other torch.

This torch was working great initially but after only a few months it is already completely broken. I have tried multiple chargers - when it is plugged in it looks as if it is charging but as soon as I unplug the charger (after charging overnight etc) then it won't turn on. I have tried to contact the seller (although contact information is very difficult to find so all I could do is "ask a question") to inform them and I have had no response.It was great initially but not at all worth the price if it is only going to last a couple of months before breaking. Not worth the price at all and I am disappointed in the lack of response or help from the seller.

Write a review... Wow! This is some torch. It’s truly phenomenal. I’m very happy with it. I thought the strobe was a bit slow but when you consider the strobe can be used for a deterrent, anything more would totally blind someone. That’s not to say it wouldn’t blind someone just not ... totally. Even the lower settings are adequate enough for any normal usage, personally I don’t think I’ll need the full setting for much. My need for a torch was for walking and the spread on this is amazing, enough to light up any pathway.

Love the bright light. Shame there is no focus option. Nice and solid build feels like it should last a long time. Ni

Not much not to like, have now given away our massive old lantern type rechargeable torches and bought two of these which are amazing. The technology has moved so far forward, with a display of battery condition you have plenty of warning to recharge for which a common (larger) usb phone charger will do fine. Several weeks of use now and still just as pleased.

Unfortantly my first torch had a fault, The aftersale service from the supplier was fantastic and they sent me a new torch. The Touch is made of metal, very strong and rugged, feels good,they have not cut corners when it comes to quality. I would recommend this torch /flash light. I am a very happy customer.

This is a great torch. I already have several others... motorhome, cars, garage, house, bikes and impressed my neighbour with the brightness of the the new led torches. So..... I got this one for him and boy is it a great torch will light up a big garden...best not to run it on high power for long periods though. Very pleased.
