Ensure you understand the difference between the types of connectors

If I include the plugs, 11 8/16" If I don't include the plugs but include the rest of the connectors, face to face is 11" If I don't include the connectors, how cable is to be measured, it is 8 3/4" While it will work as a back up for an additional cable I use, this will not do the job it was bought for as the product is not a 12" cable.
