Reviewed after 1year 5 months of purchase. This device is spoilt. Doesn't work anymore and 1year warranty ended. My friends tell me this device spots functioning after the warranty period ends. Pretty much cheated

I'm confused!
I had purchased this a while ago. I hate flossing, but I don't think anyone loves it, even dentists. I tried a waterpik and I hated that even worse. I turned my bathroom into a swimming pool. I heard about airflossers and I wasn't too sure what they were. I started to read up on them, but the price range of them sounded rather steep especially after spending the money on my waterpik. When I was this one I decided to invest in it. It was chearer than a log of the other ones and seemed easy to use and compact. If you put 10 buttons on a machine you can be assured I'm not going to use it. I read the instructions, charged it up, and set out on my new healthy mouth journey. I have a tiny but of water that leaks from the top, but other than that, I love it. I use this thing a couple of times a day and get good results with it. My bathroom has long dried out and while this will spray water it's nothing like the other one. I bought a dropper and put a few drops of mouthwash in the reservoir. I fill the reservoir in the morning and it lasts for two sessions. After I'm done for the day, I oped the fill cap and let it dry out over night to be used again the next day. By using this and a product sold on Amazon called "Under the Gums" for teeth and gums I have been able to improve my teeth and gums greatly. I am considering buying the newer version of this because I love this one so much. Thank you Amazon and Philips.

Best for those who don't manually floss regular
A family member uses the AirFloss Rechargeable not so much because he finds it an excellent product, but because it works better than the less-than-perfect the dentist was concerned about. It seems to be more motivating than flossing and it is used regularly.[Full disclosure: I regularly use a WaterPik Water Flosser, which I prefer to the AirFloss.]I tried the AirFloss for about a month and here's what I see as its pros and cons:Pros:• Easier than flossing for most people. It emits a single blast of liquid (water, mouthwash, etc.) each time the button is pushed. For people who have closely-spaced teeth that makes manual flossing difficult, the AirFloss can be less frustrating and more effective than manual flossing, taking a minute or less.• People who avoid manual flossing may find they are more apt to use the AirFloss regularly.• It is portable enough to travel with, and the rechargeable battery can last up to two weeks on a charge.Cons:• Not as effective as manual flossing alone or combine with manual flossing• The price point for the various AirFloss models, compared to Waterpik models, is high for the performance, compared to Waterpik products• Depending on model, not as versatile or effective as Waterpik Water Flossers• No independent evidence for its superior effectiveness. Most individual comparisons I read on the web comparing AirFloss with manual flossing and/or the WaterPik products is anecdotal. That said, none suggested the AirFloss is superior to the Water Flosser, while a few do suggest that Waterpik products are as good as, or almost as good as, removing plaque as manual flossing. [Some studies suggest that combining manual flossing with either the AirFloss or Water Flosser is better than a single flossing method.]My overall takeaway is that if you don't floss regularly, and you're not crazy about Waterpik products (which operate on continuous water pulses), then invest in an AirFloss and your oral health will benefit over brushing only. But don't think you're selecting the best option for your oral health.

Love it!
I purchased this for my wife who is a flossing fool! On the recommendation of her Dental Hygienist who mentioned that she might want to try this product and that they sold them at the office... well you know how that goes. I checked it out on Amazon and found it and bought it for her to try. So far so good and it does exactly what it is supposed to do and now I'm surrounded by flossing string as well as chargers and another machines in the bathroom. I am also surrounded by all the other various personal health care items that you would find normally. Between my two shavers ( I shave my head) and my beard trimmers, rotary nose hair trimmer etc, The wife's Epilady, Sonic care toothbrush, curling iron, hair drier sort of makes it crowded in there for electrical outlets. On the other hand if anything ever happens to one of of us there should be no need for an a medical examiner to decide on the cause of death!. I'm hoping she doesn't decide to take up weight lifting. All in all she loves the Sonicare air floss and highly recommends it.One thing however. Trying to get their proprietory mouthwash that you add to the reservoir of the air flosser takes a while to order so use water instead and the maker suggests that you don't use anything with sugars in it.( They tend to clog the tip) Not sure about alcohol so I would stick to water until I know where or what others you can use.Buy some extra tips if you like using this. They should last about a year or so but you could break one so better safe then sorry. All in all it's a great product. Highly recommended..

Discontinued Model No Longer Supported by Sonicare (No Warranty Honored)
This model is no longer supported by Sonicare and two-year warranty isn't honored because the product is out of production. This item is not sold by Sonicare.I had this model previously and it had a good life until I dropped it and broke the tip....I didn't know at the time you could replace the head. So I purchased another because the first one was great. (Dentist office reports "plaque build-up is minimal".)The push button on my new air flosser was stiff at first but it loosened up but now it's leaking at the nozzle. Nozzle not broken. As the device is still within the 2-year warranty window, I went to the Sonicare website to see what my options were. Unfortunately, as this wasn't sold by Sonicare, I didn't know this model was discontinued when I bought it and the model is no longer supported or warrantied by Sonicare. I'm glad it was less than $50 when I purchased it. I'll consider it a disposable purchase.
