Very smooth, lasts a while. I initially bought 1 Oz to try, been using about a month, have 4 fairly large tattoos and a few smaller ones & put it on morning & night(figuring rubs off on clothes or sheets, haven't seen any staining either.) And still have about a 1/4 of containers. Smells nice, light beachy fragrance. Not at all gritty like another brand I tried and really makes color pop, even on my 29 year old tattoo. Granted I've always used sunscreen on them but I have some with yellow & light green & really revitalized color. I ended up buying the 5oz 2 pack. Should be set for a while. Side note, I do have very sensitive skin & this did not causen any rash or breakouts for me.

I had just gotten two new tattoos touched up, my artist suggested hustle butter and used it through the tattoo process.I caved and bought it.I used it and I can tell you I'm five days out from my new tats and they're healing SO much better. I am just getting into tattoos recently. I had been looking at advice and reviews on how to heal a tattoo properly. I got my first every last year and my artist suggested to use a thin layer of aq*aph*r and rinse with scent free soap. After the tattoo was healed, I noticed a lot of color loss and had to go in for a touch up. After reading more into it, it could have been that process made the tattoo heal improper (also my body could have pushed out more ink or artist was too light handed) Whatever the situation was I wanted to look into what I could do better. I saw great reviews on Hustle Butter. I ordered it after the touch up and it healed flawless!! Couldn’t have been happier. I also had gotten another tattoo prior that had healed better than the first. I had also needed a touch up on that. I used it at the end of the healing process and it looks great as well. Also it brightens and freshens it up when they look dry and dull. I would say just go for this for healing new and refreshing your old tatts. My experience with this has been great!

I was initially upset that the container was so small. That's on me for not reading the description. But once I used it, that upset went away. You dont need a lot. This stuff spreads so smoothly and so well and the coverage is awesome. It starts off as a soft balm and then just melts into this super soothing, thin layer of barrier cream. It cut down on the stinging and redness and doesn't feel sticky or gooey. Seems like a really solid product overall.

The balm and soap in this kit are fantastic and really soothing, but the film is too narrow for larger tattoos. I had to overlap two pieces, which made it stiff and uncomfortable on my upper arm. The adhesive also feels stronger than Saniderm and seems to be causing some irritation, so I’ll be switching back.

got it for my boyfriend and he wanted another. it kept his black out tattoo hydrated. it’s soft to the touch almost like vaseline and it does not leave a white cast.
