Great for camping!!
Bought this for camping and used it this weekend. Love the compact size and it works great. I'm hoping that the seam inside between the metal and the silicone won't rust. I found dark spots on it before use and when I wiped it, black stuff came off. Also, you will need a bottle brush to clean it since the opening is too small for your hand to fit. It served its purpose and am happy with it overall.

Bought this for our very compact RV van. Love it. It collapses down and holds enough for 2 cups of coffee or tea and my husband's oatmeal. Works well on our 2 burner propane stove. A little hard to wash. Wish I could get my hand all the way to the bottom when it is collapsed. It does collect water stains inside. Used some lemon juice.

Cool concept
This kettle is so neat. I got it for my son who is taking an herbalism class and doing a lot of wildcrafting in his survival skills school. It fits well in his backpack, is nice and light and is much bigger than we expected (maybe 3 cups?). It all collapses flat into the metallic base. He will be using it over camp fires.

It works great on my induction stove top and RV propane stove top. LOVE IT!!!!
It so awesome, I'm going buying a bunch of these for gifts this holiday season. I purchased it for my new RV. It's a 25' C Class. I have great storage but still...storage is at a premium on a 25' RV. I use a french press for my coffee in the morning. This works great in multiple ways. When I'm connected to electricity at a campground I use my induction top unit. That way I don't have to use my propane. Plus, it's way more efficient. It works great on the induction stove top. Filled almost all the way up, water is boiling in 55 seconds. Works great on the propane stove top in the RV. When not using just smush it down and it takes very little room.

I've used this 3-5 times a day on gas stove making the hot h2o for my coffee in truck camper. It's awesome. Let it be known that I'm not easy on it. I abuse it, and it's holding up very well.

Not recommended
The first time I used this on a campstove, I noted that the handle gets very hot such that you need some sort of pot holder to handle it. Second time used on same stove, the handle melted such that the top will no longer open. Would not recommend this unless you use on a stove with a very small diameter burner, and I'm not sure that would make it usable.

Easy effective unit.
Took it camping on a fly fishing trip to the driftless region of Iowa. I used it to boil water for a French press and it'd do enough water for a couple travel mugs of coffee. Works really well and compacts nicely, though it will need a water bottle scrubber to clean the inside. The handle is a little funky to figure out but you'll get the hang of it. Certainly is much cheaper than the sea to summit model.

Not bad but scrub occasionally
Lightweight, portable tea pot that collapses nicely to save space. I like it very much. A couple of qualifiers: handle has a flip catch that is easy to work but hard to figure out. Done incorrectly, steam will burn your hand when pouring. Also, mineral deposits from hard water build up in any tea kettle. Here the white flakes don't stick well to the silicone and swim around inside the kettle after awhile leaving white powder in the water. Rinsing with vinegar and scrubbing periodically seems to solve this.
