Mother recently broke her hip and had to have a replacement. I noticed her struggling with a standard frame and saw these skis on another frame. It makes moving the frame forward much easier as it slides and doesn't need to be lifted. Easily fitted in a couple of minutes.

Once fitted to the walking frame, there is no noise in walking: the frame glides along the floor easily. The ferrules are sturdy and good value for money and should last. The only downside is that the walker may take time in getting used to them, as more control of the frame is needed.
