Excellent cover versions of some old favourites
This is not a normal Rush album, to commemorate their thirty years together the lads returned to their "roots" and paid tribute to those they had learned from (their words, not mine). These cover versions are Summertime Blues, Heart Full Of Soul, For what It's Worth, The Seeker, Mr. Soul, Seven And Seven Is, Shapes Of Things, and last but not least, Crossroads.I personally like Rush's version of, The Seeker & Summer Time Blues.Keep On Truckin' lads.

Rush go back to their roots, with this superb covers album.
A nicely produced album to coincide with their R30 tour. The songs are a collection that Alex and Geddy use to play as fourteen year olds down the local youth club, although Neil wasn't the drummer at the time, he shared the same passion for these songs. I was first introduced to their music when my brother bought 2112 in the late seventies, and I instantly became a big fan, though my interest wained in the mid eighties as they became more keyboardy. This album takes them back to their rock and blues roots and is all the better for it. Nice one guys!
