Air Venturi Airgun Darts, 12 Pack

The darts are a bit pricey. They can be reused but the flights quickly detach after several uses. Attempts to reattach the flights have been unsuccessful and without them, the darts are useless. I would like to see these offered in “bulk” at a lower per unit cost. They are perfect for short range indoor shooting. A decent quality dart board serves well as a target. I use these in a CO2 powered pistol (revolver) capable of 430fps at distances of 18-20 feet. They will not pass through a bristle/horse hair dart board at this range however, a pair of needle nose pliers is often needed to remove the darts from the dart board. Care must be taken so as not to pull the flight/fletching from the dart. Repeated use of the darts will ultimately result in the flight/fletching separating from the dart during flight.

Good pricing

These darts are really nice and shoot very well, as long as your gun is low powered. Too much power and it tends to blow the tail into bits, or bury it so deep in the dart board you can't get it out. Using a break barrel rifle is a bad idea because it's way too much power. Certain CO2 revolvers can shoot these, but you need more distance because of the high power. The best guns to use these darts with is the old Marksman pistol or the Umarex Ruger Mark IV break barrel pistol.

Now made in CHINA - horrible quality. Thin and flimsy. Plastic feathering made different, now I have to flare out each dart to make them stay in pellet cartridges of revolver. Doesn't always work out well... pellets fall through easily, much easier than the German made darts. Used to be made in Germany and very good quality. I cannot find anything that compares though, so I'll have to keep using these until I find some old batches for sale.

Great value and price

These work great in my Crossman .177 caliber pump up air pistol. With 3 pumps on the pistol, I can accurately stick the dart into a 4" wide by 6" long board at approximately 15 feet. I will purchase more of them.
