Very pleased with this solar cover. Arrived in a reasonable quality zipper plastic bag which I used during the four months the swimming pool was in use and is now used to store the cover until next season. The cover worked remarkably well. We are in Anglesey, North Wales and for four months the cover achieved temperatures of 18 to 24 C on the pool thermometer during May until August this year. We tended to keep the cover on the pool except when we chose to swim. It was easy to fold on the surface with two people, one on each side of the pool. I removed it roughly once a fortnight, laid it on the lawn and hosed and scrubbed it with a firm brush and then hung rinced and dried it before laying it back on the pool. I have to say that compared to previous years with the original Bestways cover, the Intex Solar Cover was well worth the cost. Because it is laid on the surface of the pool and does not hang over the rim of the pool frame it is possible for leaves and bugs to drop into the water gap around the edge of the pool, but this is tolerable.

I have had my 15' pro steel pool for 6 years and have always found these solar covers excellent. They float on top of the water keeping leaves/bugs etc out of the pool. With the cover on, the sun does heat the top 6" or so of the pool and after 'swishing' it around, the overall temp of the pool does increase. The recent excellent weather has meant the pool has been used daily. The cover is easy to remove and very easy to put back on after use. The seller dispatched very quickly. Very satisfied.

Bog standard solar cover that will last a few seasons…basically bubble wrap cut to size with some air holes to keep it down

Bought this last summer and using again this year - surprised at how warm the water after the sun is on it all day. Best used with a pump to circulate the warmth otherwise the surface is really warm and the bottom cold.

Cover arrived quickly. Much better quality than our last one. Fits pool perfectly and hopefully will keep it warm during summer months. Thank you

This is half the thickness and quality of my old cover from Intex. Parts of the it melted in the sun I live in the UK and it's never that hot. It went brittle and is falling rapidly falling apart within a couple of months and I now have thousands of blue dots in my filter. Not worth the money

I ordered a 15ft cover but was sent a 10ft one and paid for a 15ft one. Unfortunately couldn’t send it back as my son had unpacked it and put it on the pool so very disappointed

Produce arrived on time and a third the price of other places I had checked. It also came in a very handy zip bag. No problems and now the water is often warm when we get in the pool. My pool is a 15ft steel frame Intex pool and this fits a treat

This solar blanket isn't made of thin plastic like some of the cheaper solar blankets.; not a single tear or rip from last year's use. That being said, I am still very careful not to drag it across anything that it would snag on--it is just plastic, after all. The blanket traps the heat very well. In the hottest day of summer the water right under the blanket feels like warm bath water. The blanket most certainly raises the average temperature of the pool by a few degrees. Very happy with this because it shows no signs of deterioration after a full summer's use. I'll likely get a few years life out of this one.

Definitely not as thick as the original blanket that we had with the pool. That’s doesn’t seem to be a negative. - it’s easier and lighter to move around - takes up less space on deck and winter storage - seems to hold heat in just as well I’ve used this for almost a full season on an above ground pool with a deck. We fold both ends into the middle so there are 4 layers then accordion it up to take the folded blanket off the pool. Taking it off and putting it on involves dragging it over the edge of the pool casing. It seems to be holding up to the friction and there is no damage. Saved a boat load. Even if this only lasts 2 seasons I’m ahead of the game and I’ll buy new ones earlier if I have to.
