Maltodextrin 2lb

I mix my own sports drink and this product is the main ingredient. Tasteless so I add flavoring too. But the necessary energy I need at a fraction of the cost. No side effects for me.

I bought this as an ingredient for mixing my own sports drink. It dissolves pretty well in cold water, but I have to shake the bottle a little. If I have it with me while running, rowing, or biking there's going to be a little shaking going on anyway. For indoor workouts I just make sure it's well mixed before I start. It doesn't separate out after mixing and gives me the expected energy.

Unlike 2 other products Maltodextrin by Pure Organic Ingredients is a little more granular which means less "dust" when you dispense it. I typically use a blender but there was no problem mixing large quantities (150g) in a few cups of water. I used it for carb loading yesterday and part of my fuel and recovery drinks today and so far so good. I'll likely be buying more.

As far as I can tell, this is maltodextrin. It's a good quantity for a good price and I see no reason to pay twice as much for the exact same thing in a fancier package.

Original bag was torn open and it was repackaged inside of another clear plastic bag. A little wary about accepting a product that isn't sealed. Otherwise seems like a good value as compared to other maltodextrin supplements.

This blends well for my post-workout shakes, no clumps, and appears to be pure maltodextrin. 2 thing i would have liked: because it will take me years to finish, I would prefer a better seal on the package to improve shelf life such as a zipper. Also, some anti-moisture silica gel packs would be nice to keep the product dry when i store it. But the overall product is great, and I am happy with my purchase.

Great value, high quality product. Perfect for cyclists or other endurance athletes. Flavourless and dissolves completely, so you can add it to pretty much anything.

Fast , easy, and convenient. Great for that protein shake after a workout.
