Good product with a few little quirks.
I had a good chance to use this container during an overnight trip with my wife this last weekend. I bought this to use as a dirty bag with my water filter and for that purpose it worked very well. Using the wide mouth opening took some practice, but I found I could fill it quickly by scooping the water several times. After about 4 "scoops" the bag was pretty full and it only took about 10 seconds or less. The material is very durable, so you can really give it a good squeeze when you're pushing water through your filter. The zip top also worked just fine without any signs of leaking. Odds are if it's leaking, you haven't pushed the clip all the way across. The clip should hang over the edge a little bit when fully zipped.I took one star off because, despite a reported upgrade, the screw-top opening is still just a hair too flimsy. With 5 pounds of water weight pulling on it, the screw cap opening can lose its round shape and make reattaching the cap or attaching a filter a little difficult because the threads won't line up. However, once you have the filter or cap seated properly, it holds its shape and doesn't leak. Make sure not to tighten it too much either, because that can also warp the nozzle and cause leaks. Just barely finger tight seemed to be the sweet spot. Depending on your water source, you could also attach the filter first and then fill it up from the wide mouth. If using as a dirty bag, I would make sure to give it a test squeeze before dispensing into your clean container just to make sure you have a good seal. Otherwise you might get some cross contamination in addition to having to re-seat the filter.Still think it's a great product, and would easily be a 5 star with a few small improvements.

Excellent for easy filtration
The CNOC streamlined and lightened my filtration game and I take it on all my backpacking trips (whether using squeeze or drip filtration). So much easier than dealing with narrow-mouthed reservoirs. Some observations/recommendations: 1) it is more prone to leaking (at the water intake) then a hydration reservoir that you can store inside your pack. I solve this by storing it cap-down in the outside mesh (prevents dripping); strapping it on top of the pack also works - you run the risk of a wet pack if you treat it like a dedicated stiffer-plastic reservoir; 2) the plastic is susceptible to puncture by thorns - a prior CNOC was punctured in some gnarly desert terrain - I didn't hesitate to buy a new one; 3) I usually hike in places where a scoop is needed to get water into the reservoir (I use the cut-off bottom of a water bottle that I nest my drinking bottles in). Happy trails!

Doesn't leak as people say. Easy to store. Simple to use.
I really like this piece. It's pretty light weight. I bought it after trying my friend's in conjunction with a Sawyer Squeeze. I carry a 2.5 L Osprey hydration pack with a quick release hose attachment. I put a quick release attachment on my Sawyer and hooked it up to this CnoC Outdoors Vecto 2 L Water Container (after filling it with stream water). By using the rolling technique, I was able to fill my bladder in just a minute or so; 2 L is more than enough for hiking in the Sierras. This bladder is way better than the bladders that come with the Sawyer. Wide mouth design and flip/slide seal are great.Pinch the neck of the Vecto 2L Water Container just below the threading in the reinforced area, then thread your cap/filter on. When done properly the threaded section shouldn't leak at all.

Fantastic water bag
Used this water bladder for a three day Smokies backpacking trip this mid January. It is, by far, a much better mouse trap than any other water collection bag I have used. Really liked the wide mouth option. The only issue is the rubber threading on the cap end can be a little difficult to get to marry to one another. You have to make sure you start the threading correctly to have a proper fit, otherwise, you may think it’s sealed, but it’s not quite, and it leaks a little. It would be better if the threading were made of hard plastic, instead of the same material as the bag. Regardless, I would recommend this water bag to any serious backpacker.

The Best Water Container You Can Buy
If you want a water container that packs down and will not leak then just buy this one. I’ve intergrated this into my water system and use it for my dirty water storage, in which I connect it to my sawyer squeeze and then filter the water into 2 bottles. The large mouth opening allows for much easier fill, even in low water sources that is way more convienent than other containers. The durability is also the best I’ve encountered and I would not be worried to carry it filled and it leaking. I first saw this product in a video and knew I had to check it out. I’m glad I did, I have found zero issues with this product and cannot recommend it enough.

Great bags, nearly perfect
Bought a red and blue to do a sawed micro gravity setup. Love these bags in every way except :1)Slightly heavy, but really worth it.2) no wuick way to lock it closed. The slider has a slot cutout and it looks like a plastic locking clip of some kind could be popped on to keep the slider from moving off but mine didn’t come with anything. Could run rope through but taking that on/off would be a pain. Already had one start moving open once.

Love this product
I already have the 3L vecto for my dirty bag. Decided to get this 2L to complete my gravity system. Only reason I'm not giving the product an overall 5 star is the threading. When I connect it to my hydroblu versa flow, there is a leak. I'm sure if I get a rubber washer I wouldn't have this issue. I heard this issue has been addressed in the new 2019 version

Large mouth top is A+. Love love love
I used this on a thru hike of the long trail in Vermont in June. Actually used it everyday and most people in my group ended up using it daily as well instead of the bags that come with the sawyer filters. Seems very durable and the wide mouth top is the key feature. You learn to roll it down one direction as if done the opposite way it tends to be more difficult.

Top produkt
