Bunny vs Monkey 5: Destructo: 5 Paperback – 4 Oct. 2018

Janie Smart is my 8-year-old son’s favourite author. We were introduced to him via the Phoenix weekly comic, and the combination of evil genius Skunky’s over-the-top inventions, Bunny’s resolute defence and defiance of Monkey’s plans to take over the woods, and the innocence and loyalty of Weenie and Pig are surefire hits in our house. Book 5 of these compilations of Bunny vs Monkey stories from The Phoenix is another fun read. In fact we’re on our third re-read now. Great for reading alone, out loud or together, we tend to have specific characters we read for (my favourite is doing a bad French accent for Le Fox).Highly recommended for children who like laugh out loud stories with engaging illustrations.

My so has been enjoying these books. Started reading the to him when he was 5, he now reads them himself and finds them very funny.

I can't comment on the quality of the stories but the magazines are well produced.
