Beautiful Articulation of Middle Class Mindset!
The book is a masterpiece in encapsulating the struggles of a middle-class woman with a humble and naive character. A must read book for all the newly married women! It will throw light on the fact to not expect anything out of anybody and teaches to pave a strong way for oneself.

A book that’s like a soft and soothing lullaby
Mridula is a simple, happy and outgoing girl who has abundant energy. She lives every day and every minute and enjoys life the way it should be enjoyed. She grows up to be a beautiful young woman and meets Sanjay, a struggling doctor who has a lot to learn. They fall in love and marry. The young couple is happy at first but as Sanjay starts climbing the ladder of success and money, he loses sight of right from wrong. He is led astray by the guile of money. He soon becomes a man whom Mridula doesn’t recognise. As Sanjay and Mridula live life together, she finds herself to be unhappy. Will Mridula and Sanjay be able to find a way back into love? A book written with simplicity, human insight and empathy. The language is simple and easy. A one-time read for old-fashioned girls like me!

A sincere narration
This book is different from the other books penned by the author...it is a story of love, betrayal and restlessness....Sudha ji's simple yet spellbinding narrative makes this book unputdownable...the characters are next-door people and hence, highly relatable.. you would root for the protagonist, sometimes loathe her, at other times would want to advice her..but most of all, wish her a happy ending. Recommended to all bibiliophiles and men in particular.

Meaningful learnings in simple story
The author has wonderfully conveyed the essence of life that almost every girl goes through. I, myself can relate to it very much. While reading the book, you realise how well you can see yourself in the place of Mridula and the situations that she goes through in her life is not very different from your very own. A good lesson that I learnt is have your own savings no matter how much you contribute for the family.

My opinion about the Novel
This novel holds you from beginning to end, but some of the place where it makes us feel boring or too much description feels like boredom. I will surely suggest this book to someone who feels like there is nothing left in life and who are living purpose less life. I think this is the best rating that I could I give to this book.
