Handy Tool for Adjusting Small Gaps in Floating Floors
This floor gap repair tool is designed to help reposition floating floor planks when small gaps develop between boards. It uses a suction cup base that attaches to smooth flooring surfaces, allowing controlled tapping with a hammer to shift the plank back into alignment. For laminate, vinyl plank, hardwood, or similar floating floors, it can provide a convenient way to address minor gaps without needing to take the floor apart. The tool has a sturdy metal body that feels solid during use, and the angled striking surface helps direct the force from a hammer tap toward the plank being adjusted. The rubber suction cup is intended to grip the floor securely when placed on a clean, smooth surface, helping keep the tool in place while applying light taps. Using the tool is fairly straightforward. Once the floor area is clean and dry, the suction cup can be pressed down to create a seal. After it is attached, gentle hammer taps on the striking surface gradually move the plank back toward the gap until the boards line up again. The compact design also makes the tool easy to store in a toolbox when not in use. The suction base tends to work best on smooth flooring surfaces. Floors with heavy texture or matte finishes may not allow the suction cup to hold as firmly, which can affect performance. When used on compatible surfaces, however, the tool can make small flooring adjustments easier. Overall, this tool offers a simple way to help correct minor gaps in floating floor installations. Its durable construction and straightforward design make it a useful option for basic floor maintenance and small repair tasks.

Handy Tool for Fixing Floor Gaps
This tool is designed to help pull laminate or vinyl planks back into place when gaps show up between boards. The suction cup grips onto the plank, and then you can tap the metal strike plate with a hammer to nudge the board back where it belongs. The suction cup holds well on smooth flooring, and the metal body feels sturdy enough to take repeated taps without bending. It’s a simple tool, but useful if you’re trying to fix small floor gaps without taking the whole floor apart.

Hammer and slide.
I feel this is an essential tool for anyone who has a floating floor as oftentimes these floors may tend to become unhooked from foot traffic As there is no adhesive keeping them in place. This tool offers a quick effective way to lock in any planks that have moved overtime. Operation is very simple as you hold the tool down depressing the suction cup then you rotate the lever down locking the who will in place then tap with a hammer and your floor will slide whichever direction you need it to go. I feel the quality of this tool is very good. It is a simple tool but the design an implementation makes it a simple tool to use. You should not need a lot of force when using this tool and when used for its intended purpose it should provide years of service. I feel the price of this tool may be a bit steep for what you get however when you have a plank that has separated in the middle of your floor this becomes invaluable, so I feel this is a good price for a tool to have on hand if it's ever needed.

Closes the gap!
This easy to use, heavy duty floor gap fixer for laminate flooring by YYDENTOOL is a fantastic tool. It is very well made with a strong heavy duty steel frame and a thick rubber suction cup. The suction cup holds extremely well to smooth laminate flooring and even to mildly textured flooring. I have laminate and LVP flooring in many of my rental unites that occasionally develop gaps. This tool does a really good job closing the gap in the few that I have tried so far. It was a very simple process. As long as the floor is clean and relatively smooth, the suction cup will grip the floor and allow you to "adjust and persuade" the tile to slide toward the gap, closing it. All you need is a good firm mallet and you are good to go. The price is more than worth it to solve this irritating problem. Note: Just make sure that the gap is clear of all debris by using a firm brush and vacuum before using this tool. Solid floor gap tool that helped pull planks back into place
This tool was useful for fixing a small gap that formed in one section of our flooring. I’ve dealt with plank gaps before, and trying to push them by hand never works well. The suction cup on this grabbed the plank firmly, and the tool gave me much better control when pulling it back into position. The build feels heavy and sturdy, which I actually prefer for a tool like this. I used it carefully, and it helped move the plank without me feeling like I was going to damage the surface. The angle and handle design made it easier than expected to apply steady pressure and get the plank aligned. Overall, this tool did what I needed for a small floor repair. It grips well, feels solid, and makes fixing plank gaps much easier than trying to force it by hand.
