Great purchase. Would definitely recommed for homeschooling. Simple, very colorful, contains projects and activities.

i was looking to start teaching science to my kindergartener. she loves learning and i supplement at home because she is ahead of her class. it was very hard to find science for her age group, most classes dont start until 3rd grade. i knew what kind of science i wanted to start teaching her and this textbook is perfect. it covers: life science~ plants and anmials, living together, earth science~ about our earth, weather and seasons physical science~ matter and energy, energy and forces there are 2 or 3 chapters in each subject. i also purchased the workbook to go with it but havent recieved it yet. the textbook has nice pictures and is not to advanced, it teaches good vocabulary and has experiment ideas. even my 2 year old was interested in this book and wanted to look at the pictures and listen to some of the information on the page. i recommend this for 4-7 year olds depending on their level of interest in school and science.

Great book. Im a little more old school with homework. I tried time4learning, adaptedmind and adventure academy for science. They just dont compare to textbooks. This one is informative and engaging.

I received two of these in great condition. We will be using these for First Grade science as part of our homeschool curriculum. I've browsed through the books and it will be great easy read, to lots of science subjects. It looks like it suggests crafts and I'll probably try to find documentaries on Netflix or another streaming service for the topics in this book.

I am homeschooling my 1st grade grandson. I was looking for something to keep me on track in science. This book does just that. The lessons are short enough and easy enough for his comprehension level.

I read with my 5 year old every night and this is my go to bedtime book. One chapter a night and the pictures are great and the text easy to understand. My child is not getting a very good education in school so this keeps her mind active.

This is book is great for my middle students that are in the functional day class. It covers subjects that would be difficult to grasp and keep them engaged without the great pictures.

my child was unimpressed with this book. For a second grade book it felt like it was written at a kindergarten level.
