Chicago Boy's Adjustable Quad Skate

This is the second pair that I am familiar with. My sister bought these in pink for my daughter, so I bought them for my neighbor son, so my daughter can have a skating partner. I want the buyers to know that the skate WHEELS look worn out by the second day. It doesn't appear that the wheels will run down so fast, it just has that worn out look. The skate itself is made sturdy. Again, it's just the covering on the wheels are not so great. I love how fast you are able to adjust the skate size with just a push. My daughter shared with her friend (who is a bigger size) skate with one foot. I would still buy the skates again, the kids love them.

I bought these skates for our 4-year-old who wants to be just like his older siblings. The skates have a sturdy construction with a hard shell to support the ankles and our son is having a great time on them. The only issue I have is that the toe stop seems a bit cheesy and will probably need to be replaced more quickly than I would have expected. I did a lot of shopping around and am entirely satisfied with these skates and expect he'll grow out of them before they wear out (aside from the toe stop, that is).

I bought these skates for my 6 year old son, they arrived the next day. Great looking skates, love everything about them except for the fact that my son complained about the stopper being too close to the floor which caused him to fall too much.He wore them in day camp yesterday, if he has the same problem today i may consider sending them back.That's the only issue i have with them, because he can actually put them on and take them off without any assistance.With that being said that's why i rated them a 4 star....

I got two pairs of these skates. One for my 7 year old son and my 6 year old daughter. I selected these skates because I loved the design. The colors are cool and the style looks like a BIG KID even though they are adjustable.These were Christmas gifts and they were a big hit!! They couldn't wait to try them out. The skates were worn with socks and adjusting them to size was very easy.The skating action was very smooth, the wheels weren't jerky like I remember adjustable skate being when I was a kid and the kids really loved them. They use these skates outside on the side walk and at the skating rink!!

My seven year old wanted to learn to skate. I didn't want to have to keep buying the next size up as he is really growing fast and keeps growing out of shoes. These skates solved that dilemma. Because they are adjustable they can grow with him. When set up properly, they give him great support and have held up to hours of skating already. He loves them and skates almost every day.

I purchased these for my son who is in the process of learning to skate. The skates are good quality overall. I am pleased with the price and the fact that we can use them for a while since they are adjustable. My son is currently a size one and we should be able to use these skates for a few more sizes of his growth. The wheels are adjustable as well. You can tighten the wheels to "slow" the skates down for beginning skaters. I also like the fact that the insert for the foot is removable and washable.

The skates are all right, my kid starts barely using them so far.The cons are not about the product but the site:- They are far heavier than specified (2 pounds)... actually whole the package was 6.6 pounds (3 Kg more or less).- There was not a realiable size chart near the product. Okay these are cheap and you can tell - but the designer put a lot of thought and care into the design. Adjusts easily, and despite the low price point, they have held up well to heavy abuse by our 8 and 5 yr olds. Great first choice for traditional quad skates.
