Out of the box the frame looked great and was everything we wanted; simple and doesn't look cheap. Its fits the Nectar matress we bought perfectly. Sleeping on it was fine, and its very comfortable however, if you plan on doing "something" in the bed other than sleep, be advised that the metal crossbar and support legs are not very sturdy and the screws were easily bent along with the center bar.I'm definitely not a little guy but I'm not 300 pounds either; neither is my wife. From how sturdy it seemed when putting it together I would have expected it to be able to take a pounding but evidently not.

This product is a wooden bed frame - takes the place of the old box springs and metal frames for you bed.The product itself is great (more about that in a minute), but even better is the customer service. We received the wrong size, but when we called they got all over it and quickly delivered the right size, no questions asked. My theory is, you can tell more about a company by how they handle issues, and this company came through fast and helpful.And as I said, the product is great. All the parts were there (including a few extra bolts and washers just in case), it was very easy to assemble, fit the mattress perfectly, and looks beautiful with the rest of our furniture.So I would definitely buy again (already have another one), and can tell you you won't regret buying from these folks.

less than 1 star!! i had this bed 5 days and sat on it to lie down, (not at all forcefully) and the SOLID WOOD frame slit. i weigh 120lbs!!!!horrible horrible horrible product DO NOT BUY!!!!!

This may me some sort of solid wood bed frame, but the finish is glued or veneered on. It comes of quite easily when bumped by something like a piece of luggage. First use, not even a week old. I didn't really expect a wood stain product on solid wood at this price....but was hopeful.

This is an OK bed with one major problem nothing supports the mattress from side to side movement. A 3/4" lip around the edge would have done the trick. The designer placed some sticky strips on a couple of slats to solve this problem but that is a temporary solution to a poorly designed product. It is solid wood, not finished perfectly but acceptable for a bed frame that no one sees.

I really like the simplicity of this bed. The wood is pretty, although I was sent the rustic pine and not the natural color. It's solid wood which means if I get tired of this color I can sand it down and stain it a different color. It did some with some dings, which is annoying. I was already sent a king size on accident and wasn't ready to box it up and ship it back again. I can deal with a few imperfections. Really simple to put together. I did it mostly by myself with a little help from my boyfriend. Pretty happy with my purchase.

I am a woodworker, and as much as I would have liked to build my own bed. With time constraints and life being busy I thought of this as a temporary bed. After using it, I am happy to use this as an everyday bed just made a headboard to go with it.

Fulfilled by amazon, shipping took 2 days and they brought it up to our 4th floor apt door for us. Pretty hassle free. Got the king size, ordered the natural color but on the box it says “rustic pine” as the color. Oh well, not to big of a deal breaker I guess. Assembled in about 30 min as others have said. Seems pretty solid, jumped on the bed a bit after laying mattress on top and hasn’t been making any noise or moving around. So far so good! The frame has some scuffs from shipping but again not to much of a deal breaker. We don’t have a box spring and just wanted a sturdy frame. With the comforter hanging over the edge we barley see the frame anyways. Overall happy with purchase so far.
