ModianoTexas Poker Jumbo Index Brown & Black Plastic Playing Cards Set

This is the second time I've purchased these cards. The first set lasted about 6 months per deck. They get pretty heavy use. We play poker once a week for about 4-5 hours each week. Before these, we used bicycle cards that lasted maybe 2 weeks before needing to be replaced.

These 100% plastic poker-sized jumbo index playing cards are as high-quality as expected. They compare favorably (meaning top-tier) to KEM, Dal Negro and Copag cards. These are slightly thicker and heavier than similar Copaq 1546 cards. The deck weighs about 12 grams more than the Copaq deck (140 vs 128 grams w/o jokers). The slightly gritty finish is similar and excellent. They are initially slightly stiffer than Copaq, but still very easy to shuffle. The beige/yellow background on non-face cards makes these appear very high-quality, just nice to view and easy to read. The colors and designs are excellent and on par with other plastic cards mentioned. The plastic box holds two decks and is quite sturdy, but the divider isn't tall enough and won't prevent the cards from being mixed up during movement. The deck comes with three jokers (red, blue, black) and one cut card per deck (nice to have). Great value and perhaps my new favorite poker deck.

Easily one of my favorite Deck of Card to play Poker with. They are very Durable, they are Water Resistant and easy to shuffle. If you play as much Poker as I do, these are worth it. You will have to replace over time but the Cards hold up longer than any other Deck.

This is my second set of these great cards and will not be my last. In addition to the faces eventually fading out, my only other complaint is that they do not come with a separation lock clip like Copags do so if you tip the case upside down, the cards will mix.

Fantastic Cards, A little pricey

These are quality plastic playing cards, among the best that I own which includes KEM, Copag and various budget decks. Handling / shuffle, cut / sizing and print are all excellent. My decks included three jokers and also designated cut card. All things considered, a first class product.The only complaint is the Amazon seller uses DHL Global Mail which is one the absolute worst carriers. Believe it must be the lowest cost shipping option available with last leg completed by USPS (generally). Tracking is a complete joke but that may be intentional because if you delve down far enough you may see you package stuck at some "carrier facility" for 2 or 3 days. In fairness, the cards did arrive on time but that is a rarity for DHL. There have been instances with other vendors where DHL Global Mail has been a disaster...requiring 2-3 weeks for something that should just require a couple of days.
