all parts, but no instructions
OEM, not copy, all components needed to add electric start (except battery) included. Relatively easy to install, but NO DIRECTIONS INCLUDED. Use a youtube video to show you how.NOTE: Needs tapping of a existing hole on the engine to mount it. And you will need to cut out a portion of the engine sheet metal cowling for the electric motor.

preditor/Honda flywheel mod. not stock replacement
I bought this for my 212 cc predator motor to be installed on a gas air compressor for my business. Everything was a direct mount besides the flywheel. The flywheel taper depth was incorrect for my application. I re-cut the taper for proper fitment. Other than that everything worked great. As far as i know, no one else had done this yet. E mail me if you want advice on doing this mod at [email protected]

3 stars for the price, -2 because of the instruction...
this is not bad for the price. The installation was easy if you go to youtube videos or other sellers. If you haven't done anything similiar to this in the past, then I won't recommend you to do this one. The included instructions are useless (I really mean that.) The parts (bolts and such) are generic and may not fit your needs. You will have to think out of the box to install this part. This is not a TV stand where the part much together.

Does not fit H.F. predator 212 engines
I bought this to add lights and a starter for my sons go cart. The motor was built in 2014 and looks like the ones on the shelf today. The taper on the flywheel is not deep enghoug and leaves about 3/8” out from the original wheel. Wasted a ton of time and cut the shroud all up for something that is wrong. If I shim the ingition out I cannot use the pull start since it now runs in the recoil. I gave them two stars since I had one damaged in shipping and sent a replacement which was great but they are both the same so it wasn’t a dud. Have to look elsewhere.

Electric start for the lazy!
Works awesome, easy install on a Coleman CT200U stock motor. Holes already have threads on mine. Just needed to add a battery tray and modify flywheel cover

so good luck.
Ignition switch fell apart inside the control box after two days of use... No wiring instructions either, so good luck.

Yes it will fit 212cc predator
212cc predator hemi engine. The kit will fit the engine however it will take some cleaver thinking to get the job done. Once you remove the stock flywheel and stock magneto be sure to install the new magneto inside the new flywheel, this will bolt on using stock pre tapped bolts holes on the left side as you look at flywheel side of engine. next install the starter on the right side, in stock pre tapped bolt holes, very important the you shim the starter exactly 1/4 inch off from crankcase.....i used some nuts the I had laying around and also had some bolts that were a bit longer laying around for starter. If you don't have a nuts and bolts drawer on your toolbox your really missing out. Now your ready to install the flywheel, so line the key-way up and push with all your might until that sucker pops on.....just kidding don't do that, get it as far as you can without straining keep it straight then use the stock crankshaft nut with an impact wrench, I wouldn't recommend putting more than 50ft lbs on the nut, that might even be excessive. You will notice that the flywheel doesn't seem to go on all the way and that is because it won't. Once you see the gear on back of flywheel is between 1/16 and 1/8 of an inch proud of the stock magneto bracket you're there!! Next step is to shim out magneto 1/4 inch using nuts or similar again and use a business card between the magneto and new flywheel to you don't have to fight the magnet sticking to the magneto. Now pull the crankshaft nut back off. You're ready for the plastic fan thing and pull start cup....line the fan up so the the triangle shape in the middle fits right and that 2 out or 3 or the plastic nipples on back on fan fit into holes....1 of nipples will not fit no matter how you line it up, mark this nipple and carefully cut it off, I used a razor blade.....hey, always cut away from yourself....and others, cool now you can put the fan and starter cup on. You are not going to have alot of thread left at this point but if you use a socket with short extension you can push and start that suck a couple threats before you hit it with the impact again. Now you need to line the flywheel cover up and mark where it hits the starter. cut this out, I used tin snips. once you get a good fit you will need to shim the cover out 1/8 inch I used lock washers. Works great I would give it 5 stars but it didn't come with wiring diagram for key start, not a big deal took me 60 seconds to figure out. red wire goes to constant power, wire with 2 quick connect ends go to low oil sensor, wire with eyelet and protective sleeve is ground, wire with quick connect and protective sleeve goes to small red wire on starter with quick connect and then just wire a constant power from your battery to the nut on starter.....not the one that came connected with rubber protective sleeve but the empty nut next to it. I don't think the extra cantilever on the flywheel will effect the longevity of the engine but I'm not a mechanic I just like to mess around in my garage.

Great purchase
Way better than pulling a rope! Minor modifications needed for the cover to clear the starter but it works great.
