Primary Mathematics 3A, Textbook, Standards Edition (2008-05-03)

Full color book with fun interesting pictures up until level 6B for the Standards Edition! I get what the other reviewer is saying about teaching estimation first, but I just went with it, because this curriculum has been used widely for over 15 years, and it kind of made sense to have the tool of estimation to see if you can get close to the right answer first. Worked for my child but they're all individuals, and results may vary!

Very useful math book for my daughter. It’s helps her greatly complete her math assignments without stress.

I am a homeschooling mom of an 8 year old 3rd grade boy. We have used Singapore Math since kindergarten and have been happy until now. We are currently using 3A std ed. It is good but my complaint is that addition and estimation are taught at the same time. Before addition is mastered. Same with multiplication and division. Multiplication and division are taught together before multiplication is mastered. I find I have to skip a lot of sections because he can not do the estimation and division. I finished the addition and multiplication then went back and completed the estimation and division, respectively. If I could do it again I would search for a different curriculum for 3rd grade. I will be more careful to look out for similar issues for future math curriculum.
