Level Life Diabetes Management Protein Shake, Milk Chocolate, 11 fl oz, 4 Count

My daughter is 7 and she has been a Type 1 since she was 2 and a half. Not a breakfast eater, needs something quick and easy to fill her tummy until lunch but doesnt spike her sugar too much. She had Glucerna for almost 2 years and I thought it is good because it seems to be popular in the D community. However when we started her on a continous glucose monitor, thats when we found out Glucerna spiked her BG like juice! It usually goes all the way up to more than 210! I switched her to Boost Glucose control and the result was similar. If I give more insulin to lower the spike, she wouls crash later in the mornings, so finally I found this product and decided to give it a try. It is EXECELLENT. Her blood sugar is super stable in the morning, no spiking and ut last up to 4hrs. I really wonder how they formulated this and wish their secret can apply to other foods so diabetics can take a break in their diet. Anyway, I highly recommend this to those with diabetes.

I recently tried the Level life protein bars, and thought I'd give these a shot too. They are definitely nice to have around when you're in a hurry and need to get out the door in the morning, and you want a diabetic friendly breakfast. They seem a bit "thin" to me, which is just personal preference, and might not be worth knocking off a star for. Probably just a preference of mine, or maybe a side effect of the contents. Anyhow, if you're really into shakes and want sugar free/gluten free, give these a try. Or you could just use the protein bars.

I purchased these since I'm diabetic and need some protein during the day, but low sugar.They had a great price the first time I got them. Don't recall exactly, but it was around six bucks or so.A week later I was going to reorder more, but Amazon more than doubled the price on me.I moved on and have been buying the hydroxycut shakes instead. Great product and taste on these Level Life chocolate shakes, but the price will keep me away.

I have purchased these before at retail stores, and in different flavors. The first time I tried them, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only do they taste good frozen, but they help me with my weight loss, and blood sugar. So far the one of the best protein drinks I have encountered. Not grainy, too sweet, or a bitter aftertaste. It was actually cheaper for me to purchase the on Amazon, than the actual Level Life website. I bought about 16 of the and I plan to buy more.

I love these protein shakes. They taste good, they don't spike my blood sugar like others at times and they are convenient and easy to grab on the go.

The chocolate is good. The 15 grams of protein keeps me full for about 4-5 hours without the sugar. I have become a huge fan and feel no guilt drinking them for a nutritious breakfast or snack.

My favorite and I will buy more. They are very tasty and low in carbs. I felt full and had energy after drinking one. Truly my favorite.

The taste is very good. I didn't see too much help with my eating. I am going to order more and give it another chance. I also am going to get some for my married daughter to see if it can help her loose weight and her husband too.
