Q: Only had this controller a month and the left analog stuck is pulling to the side. Can I return this item?

Yes i know that you can return items to them with no problem.

Q: How do i turn off the controller when not in use? Please don't tell me I'd have to remove the batteries.

Before the controller is put up, I turn off the console first as it turns off the wireless connection . Then I put the controller back where it goes. Then I turn off the tv....I do this every night with my great grandson as he falls asleep while playing. I hope this has answered your question.

Q: Does this controller not have a microphone plug in for wired mics?

There is NOT a microphone plug on this controller.

Q: Does the usb need to stay plugged into the game console after its connected? or can you take the usb out of the console after connecting?

You plug in or out on the PS3 or Xbox 360 if you like.
