Looks good once installed but a bit flimsy
Installing this wasn't too difficult, but the instructions are a waste of time. You should be able to figure it all out for yourself though. I needed to attach the brackets above the blind, but you can have them on the side. You attach the brackets first, after measuring very carefully, and the blind just clips on and locates firmly with pivoting clamps. You can take it back off pretty easily if you need to.With a bit of fine tuning it hangs straight and it's easy to raise and lower the blind. There's the usual long handle you twist to change the angle of the blind to let more or less light through.Luckily I'm not going to be fiddling with this now it's installed. I don't think it would stand up to much use because everything feels really lightweight and flimsy. Maybe it's stronger than it seems. But it looks nice and does the job for not too much money so i'm happy enough.

Extremely disappointed. Fitted item and came to inserting a small piece of plastic into the main bar which is required to be able to attach the rod to the main bar to open and close the blinds and this item is missing. Unable to directly contact for just a replacement part which means I am required to return this item at my own costs. What a waste of money and time, items that make you wish that you had just gone to a shop instead so you could easily arranged any missing parts with normal customer service procedures. I am hopeful that the company will read this review and contact me with a replacement of just said small missing piece

Amazon warehouse is not the same standard as Amazon !
Bought these as a replacement for our blind that came to a sudden end, anyway tried everything to replace our wooden blind with a stand in until end of lockdown, bought pvc ( totally crap) so looking at these and though they should do, not great but filled the gap, unfortunately they arrived missing the fittings and pole to open and close, was going to return but we need ya blind so had to improvise with a few shed items to make do, not impressed at all with amazon warehouse, the standard is shocking! Best of luck anyone who is thinking of using them.

Top quality blind.
This venetian blind was bought for a small window in a utility room. It came well packaged and it is very well made . The slats are aluminium finished in white and look really good. The fitting instructions were diagrammatical and fairly easy to interpret. Because the window was small I had to shorten the blind substantially. This proved to be an easy job apart from the refitting of the main cord through the plastic plug in the base of the bottom strut. Trying to replace the cord through the hole in the plug and knotting it proved impossible and I found the easiest method was to feed the cord through the hole in the strut and refit the plug, which then held the cord securely. So that is my time saving top tip!Hving completed the job I was very pleased with the result and amazed that such a quality product cost so little. Highly recommended.

Simple Blinds
Never been a big fan of Venetian blinds, I'm more of a vertical blinds guy - but when the missus says she wants Venetian, you get Venetian.Only a few steps for installation, pretty simple to follow. The brackets seemed alright when checking before fully fitting, but became fiddlier than a dude on a roof once fitting them in place. This could be due to my freestyle version of DIY ... everything fitted eventually with a bit of coaxing.Fit the window perfectly, keeps out light and seems pretty durable.Pretty much a bargain, especially with the limited options we had with our weird sized windows. Will almost definitely buy another set for our study.

Good product with terrible instructions
We took a couple of hours to fit this blind and the product looks very nice now that it's in place. The instructions are just terrible. We pored over tiny images with the aid of a magnifying glass to try to figure how the fixings should be oriented. The angle of the blinds is adjusted with a clear plastic rod, but how this was to be attached to the top of the blind was a mystery for about 15 minutes. There is an enclosed sheet written in more than 20 languages (!) that urges you to make sure that sure that small children cannot strangle themselves on the blind's raising and lowering cord.

This is a very nice blind
This would have been 5 starsall the way but there was a small amount of damage on the bottom slat and an end piece missing ...Still it doesn't notice the way I have hung it and it looks and feels very good...my biggest moan is that the box it arrived in was probably half a tree its huge ! This could have been wrapped in bubble wrap and a nice strong biodegradable bag of some description.I wish amazon had some sort of collections so some of their boxes could be recycled..

Pathetic fixings
The supplied fixings are made of a very soft metal. The design relies on a lever applying pressure to the rolled edges of the U shaped aluminium top rail. Both the levers, the catches meant to hold them and the rail itself are all to soft and mild force to clip them in place bends them so they are unusable. The do not hold the blind up. I threw them away, and drilled through the top rail, which I braced with a small piece of wood, straight into the window mantle. Took 3 hours, not a fun job.
