Make sure the latch for the ironing board is properly secured.
Just what I needed. Quality cabinet and easy install. I love the shelves but I only have a small iron which fits perfectly.

Small, handy and looks nice.
I use this ironing board in my laundry room and it works perfectly. It’s small so it doesn’t take up much room and opens out in a shallow footprint. Perfect for a small room. The shelves inside are very useful - I was surprised at how roomy it is and how much it can hold. I don’t iron very much and don’t want to use a lot of space to keep a standard sized ironing board in the house, but this one works great when I need it. I also like that it has a mirror on the outside of the door - that is an added plus!

Overall, this is a nice item. Read review for some good info.
See pictures. Item looks very nice when mounted on wall. However, the clasp that holds the ironing board in an upright position is finicky and does not always work properly. I solved this by using a little metal clamp (red in picture). The provided wall mounting hardware leaves a lot to be desired. The width of the cabinet is 14” so I straddled a stud. I used the provided mounting bolts just to get the cabinet into position on the wall. No way I would trust the provided mounting bolts to hold up with use. With the cabinet on the wall, I drilled three holes into the cabinet and the stud that was centered behind the cabinet. I then used three 2.5” wood screws to very securely attach the cabinet to the stud. I am very pleased with the finished product. Almost forgot to mention that the packaging was superb and the cabinet and mirror were extremely well protected. Also, note that a large iron fits just fine on the bottom shelf. I did the installation by myself. At age 88, I am a little slower so it took me a couple of hours, a good part of which was spent adding the extra screws to make sure the cabinet was well secured.

Okay, but not great.
This product is fairly good, but there is a least one that is much better. The one I had in a previous home was mounted between studs rather than sticking out from the wall the way this one does. But I knew how this one is designed when I bought it, and in its favor, installation is much easier on this one. The part I don't like about this one is that the smaller end of the ironing board is too large, making it very difficult to iron small areas like sleeves, necklines, etc. The other irritating factor is that when I'm ironing, the door (which is behind me because I'm right handed) won't stay open and keeps bumping me in the back. I have to use a bungee cord hooked to a nearby stationary object to hold it open. With war, disease and famine in the world, these points are minor, but just thought I'd point them out for potential purchasers.

So far so good
Just installed the cabinet. Following a previous reviewer's recommendations we used sturdier screws and anchors for drywall. Also used 2 L brackets on the top of the cabinet and 2 to hold the bottom of the cabinet as can be seen in the pictures - also on the suggestion of another reviewer. A small iron and a starch bottle fits in there, laid down on the side. Time will tell how the board holds up. But so far I have achieved what I wanted, which is to clear off the floor space where my old traditional ironing board was standing and also clear up visual clutter in the small bedroom. The mirror is another reason why I chose this cabinet over other iron cabinets. This is installed in the guest bedroom, which then gives the guests a mirror to use in addition to the one in the bathroom and a little bit more privacy for them. I did need help putting the cabinet up. Because I am in no way skilled or have the physique to do such work. Thank you to those who suggested improvements to the hardware. While I did spend a little additional money on it, the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the cabinet will be secure and is not gonna move anytime soon justifies the cost for me. All in all very happy with the purchase.

Very useful and well made
I have this installed in my studio. It is easy to take up and put down and has a little lever that helps keep it up and in place. It's a good size and very usable. The cupboard has some shelves that hold a water sprayer, some starch and a pressing ham. It closes up easily and has a mirror on it that i find useful. It was a good purchase.

IT is Easy to Put Up
I had one of these when children were little and then we moved and never could get a place to put another one. Saw this and had an area to put it in. OH I AM SOOO Happy. IT is out of the way, works great and I just have to put ironing board up when through. I got rid of the standing up one. Two screws in wall and hang. We did not use the ones that came with it and elected to buy the ones that hold 100 lbs per screw. My son said he didn't want it to come down on me so he felt better doing it that way. Only 1 flaw that I can see. The door won't stay open when I put ironing board down. So I just put a piece of cardboard on it and whalla works great. Son says he can put something up in back at bottom and fix that. At this point I am so happy to have it, I don't care. I highly recommend this.

Find a wood stud a screw directly through the cabinet into the wall.
It’s a very nice cabinet but difficult to install. The wall mounting requires better Molly bolts and best if screwed directly into a wood stud. Once we figure that out cabinet is well secured to wall.
