Fantastic sleeping bag....a must have item for a couple.
You know when your really not sure on what your buying is going to work for you...well listen to this. My wife and I love the great outdoors and are away as often as we can (twice a month). We venture out in all weathers rain or shine, mostly shine here in SoCal...We have individual bags and there great but wanted to snuggle up at night, especially when the nights we're cold. So we purchased this double sleeping bag. I can honestly say its brilliant. Plenty of room to move around in. The hoods come up a decent height. The worst thing about most sleeping bags are the zips, always snagging the material around the edge of the zip.....this bag is fantastic with a little velcro strip at the top to take the pressure off the zip when moving around. It's warm to, we camped out during New Years Eve when it was below freezing point and we where warm enough. Having served in the military for 22 years and had a lot of different sleeping bags this is one of my favorites......a must have as a couple camping out.

great for hot and cold couples
we went camping upstate in Lake Saranac (almost by Canada) during Memorial Day weekend. This kept us warm. My only complaint is that when my boyfriend opened his zipper, I was exposed too, so you need to tighten the cords around the hood. It would be nice if there was an insert where you can put your pillow so it stays in place. There was plenty of room and great for me (who gets cold easily) and for him (who gets hot easily).

A great big bag with a few shortcomings.
Bought the product and took it to Iceland, the thing is huge, roomy, and warm. However the a drawback is there's no way to cinch up the body at all, so unless you want to use the extremely inconveniently placed drawstrings on the opening of the bag, be prepared for drafty nights unless you manage to tuck it in just right. Another would be that the bag supplied for it needs some modifications to help compress the thing down so it can be packed easier, I managed to shove it onto a backpacking pack, but it took some doing. A slight redesign would resolve this issue. It's another example of someone making a nifty thing, and then forgetting to go the extra mile for ways that it could be made more usable and convenient. I'd look forward to a version 2.0 or 3.0 where some rather commonsense changes were made, but as far as what it is, save it for warm weather camping, even fall camping would start bringing the shortcomings to light.

Nice bag with limits
On the whole, I am pleased with this product. Things I noticed, that I hadn't thought of when I bought it: There are not individual drawstrings on the hoods. So pulling the string contracts the whole top of the bag. Additionally, the pull-string is in the middle of the bag, so it was occasionally in our faces. Since it's hard to close up the top of the bag, we lost a lot of heat. In the future, I will experiment with some sort of clip or velcro to be able to keep the bag closed in the middle. I remember some other brands did have that feature. So if you are going to be in cold weather, it's something to keep in mind. We were sleeping with lows in the low to mid 30's, and we were cold (I was wearing thermals and a fleece cap and socks) until we added a military poncho liner as an additional blanket inside, then it was comfortable. The bag has a tag that says it is rated to +5. Not sure if that is intended to be C or F. The quality of the bag is good in terms of zippers and stitching. If you were going to putting this to heavy use, I would look for a higher price bag. For occasional use it is good. The size of the bag would not be great for backpacking as it is pretty large when stuffed, but for car camping it is a good choice.

Light, Yet Warm, Plus Packs Smaller Than Two Bags
My husband and I used this sleeping bag during a recent camping trip, and it kept us warm even when temperatures dropped to freezing. The padding feels a little thinner than expected, so we were nervous about it as we tucked in, but after a comfortable night of sleep all doubts lifted. Now, don't think this thing is going to keep you toasty in 20° weather if you wear only PJ's -- we were in double socks, warm pants, sweatshirts and hats. But that's what you wear when you sleep while camping in springtime, and is not in any way a knock on the sleeping bag. It packs smaller than two separate sleeping bags, fit us just fine (we are average weight, 5'6" and 6'0"), and after spending a few hours hanging in the sunshine, the sleeping bag was as dry and fresh as the day we unboxed it. We are very happy with this purchase!

Great Bag for what it is intended for.
This is a great bag for light camping; like pretty much the sort of camping you would expect a 2 person bag to be good for. It is roomy enough for me (6'1" 205) and my wife (5'8' and slim build). So far we have tested it sleeping at home and will be taking it camping in a couple of weeks. I'll update then.

Problem with Stitching
The item is as described. I gave it four stars because of the construction. The stitching was coming loose. I can fix this. Otherwise, it seems like a nice sleeping bag. I had a problem finding the two pockets which are in the inside of the bag at the top. If it wasn't for the stitching, I would have given the bag five stars.

Great for car camping!
This is a great double sleeping bag! Great for car camping. Would not recommend for people who want to use it for backpacking. It was comfortable and warm. Sleeping by the lake on the first weekend of November. Granted we’re in California and the weather was only in the low 40’s. The zippers and seems appear good and sturdy. We’ll be taking it to the northern coast for Thanksgiving and I’m looking forward to it!

Zipper doesn’t last two or three uses
Used it three times and zipper broke - the teeth are way too small for camping gear. Definitely the most expensive garbage bag I’ve ever bought.
