It took almost one month after purchasing to write a review about this book. It is just an AWESOME experience. I have been reading Gulzar 'ji, Qatil Shifai, Faiz, Nida Fazli but, Gulzar ji is the best.The book starts with an introduction from Amrita Pritam. She tells that Gulzar ji is a combination of Kabir and Ghalib. You need to understand that Gulzar ji's poems are abstract, very deep in though. "Raat bhar bujhte hue rishto ko tapa humne." In order to understand this, you need to really understand the metaphors. The first line is "Raat bhar sard hawa chalti rahi, raat bhar alaw taapa humne." Now, the poet is comparing the intensity of old relationship with heat, 'alaw' and he is feeling the intense hear through the night, sitting by the 'alaw' (stove). This is Gulzar ji.The book is good. Clear content, good font, quality of page is very good. It contains major nazms of Gulzar ji. "Subah subah ek khwab ke dastak.....", "Teri akho se hi uthti hain savero ka ufaq.", "Mujhko bhi ek tarqeeb sikha do" and some of his Triveni (s), the three line poems.Gulzar ji at his best. If you really love his poems you must purchase this book. In fact, at the end, there are meaning of the Urdu words. The best part of the book is good font and clear, quality pages. While reading this book, I went back to many poems, references and it created a new person in me. To appreciate Gulzar ji you have to appreciate abstractness. "Rat bhar ugte huye badan pe jo bhi mila humko, kaat kar phek diya jalte hue alaw me use." Here 'ugte' means vegetation. Now, see the beauty of the poem. He is comparing vegetation with body which he would take, as of tearing leaf from a tree and throwing it in the fire.The book also contain poems like 'Abhi na parda girao', 'Kash ek bar kabhi neend se uth kar tum bhi", later sung by Hemant Kumar in his private albums.The journey is never ending, it will go on, vibrate in your ears, the words and the meaning.Just go for it."Aur main umr ke afkar me gum, tajurb-e-humrah liye, uske sath sath, baheta gaya, chalta gaya......"

Bought it for my mom, she loved it. It was delivered within 24hrs. Quality is also normal. No print or page tear issues but the paper itself feels a little average but Its not that bad considering the price.
