Very refreshing and perfect every night tea
Girnar Detox Green Tea is light, refreshing with a little bit of saltiness to it like a real Kahwa and not bitter at all. It brews quickly and tastes fresh in 30 seconds and very soothing. Perfect for my daily after dinner tea. great quality and value. I am so glad it is sold on Amazon as previously I bought it from India

Terrible Taste
Very disappointing. The ingredients all sound great but the combination somehow loses all the goodness and tastes absolutely terrible.

It’s spicy!
Very strong taste (& smell) of asafetida. The first sip was a real shocker! The next few were pretty awful too. But by the time I finished the cup, I had begun to like it. It’s like sipping on a spicy, thin soup!

Between the spices, the touch of salt, and the ginger (?) in there, you feel like you're having a mug of soup. For anyone who's had South Indian food, it reminds me of the experience of drinking the top watery part of rasam. I'm not too sold on the detox situation, because my kidneys and liver do a fine job of that thank you very much. However, it is a very nice pick-me-up in the middle of the day when I'm craving a salty snack. It doesn't /quite/ satiate, but it does curb that impulse to reach for a bag of chips.

This tea bags travel along with me in my handbag wherever and whenever! I even make sure to share it with people who have never tried it, because it is just so good. It is especially a treat when I am on a strict diet. It helps me hydrate more often with hot water and it curbs my cravings too!

Detox Green Tea – Desi Kahwa is a great alternative to regular tea. The quality is very good, and it tastes refreshing. It is especially helpful during winter and monsoon to stay warm and fight against cold.
