Does what it says
It is glue with a sponge top. I went over the face of my puzzle multiple times because I didn't adequately get it down all the cracks. Does not damage the surface. Also tried it on the back but surface was too porous. I could definitely do more than one puzzle with one bottle.

Cat Proof
This product works. How do I know?1. Puzzle is assembled2. Puzzle conserver glue is liberally applied3. Glue dries4. The kid’s cat takes a nap on puzzle5. Something startles the cat6. Cat freaks out and bolts7. Puzzle flies off the table8. Puzzle hits the wall9. Puzzle lands on floor in a balled up heapIt held. Seriously. Not a single piece separated. We just picked it up, flattened it out, and that was that. So yeah…this stuff is great.Cats? Not so much.

Not worth it
I followed directions and even watched a YouTube video about how to apply this product. I felt after even layering it a couple of times, the puzzle pieces were still not adhering to one another. I ended up taking the puzzle apart as I had once hoped I could frame it. I would not recommend this product.

advice for using this glue
It's taking me 1 1/2 bottles to do a 5000-piece Ravensburger puzzle. It dries completely invisible, even after lots of coats, and it glues the puzzle well enough that I'll be able to flip it over and glue the back to paper after I glue the front. The puzzle looks as good as it did before I started gluing. Advice: (1) Don't press too hard while you are spreading the glue, because you'll tear up the sponge against the opening in the bottle. Instead, hold the bottle in one spot, press down and SQUEEZE the bottle to make stuff come out, and then sponge it over the puzzle without pushing down. (2) Make sure you squeeze glue into the cracks on the first coat. You don't want a film to form over the cracks on the first coat, because then you're not going to get enough in there in later coats. (3) Avoid soaking the outside edges (the border of the puzzle), because they will rumple a little bit if they get too wet, so try not to let glue slosh over the side onto the edges of the border pieces. I am happy with the glue because of how the puzzle looks after gluing, but I'm also going to reinforce it from the back side.

Great stuff if you do it right!
First time I did a 1500 puzzle and it took 3 coats. Even then I wasn't sure it was solid. Then did a 1000 piece and it was perfect with 1 coat! First time I was just gliding a liberal amount over the entire puzzle. Second time I went row by row and put a liberal amount over each joint where 2 pieces met. And watched that an amount of white glue got between each two pieces. Waited 2 hours and perfect! May put duct tape on back again just to be sure before hanging. Have maybe 1/4 bottle left for next puzzle.

Doesn’t work well
You have to apply it multiple times for it to work
