PEPPERLONELY 10PC South Africa Porcupine Quills (2-1/2 Inch ~ 5 Inch)

Beautiful tools! I use these for laying down wig lace and they work great! Because these are made from nature, you will get quite a variation of sizes and colors, which makes each one unique. I also love showing them to friends, because how often do you get to look and touch authentic porcupine quills?!

When I was in Peru I bought an Amazonian dart gun ( just to be clear, a dart gun from the Amazon jungle in Peru, not the Amazon online shopping website). The dart quiver was filled with little sticks glued with cotton on the tips to simulate darts. Obviously this was done for safety purposes. I wanted to replace the sticks with something that resembled darts but they had to be thin to fit in the small quiver. The porcupine quills are perfect. The quillls are very sharp at both ends and the sizes vary so they look like very authentic blowgun darts in the quiver. I thought about gluing feathers to one end to make them look even more genuine but i really like the look of the quills. It is not meant to be a weapon; it is a unique decoration that will go on the wall.

All of the quills were of expected length, and very usable. There were no blemishes, all had good tips, and were packaged well. These were not damaged in any way, and were clean, thick, and colored well. As ALWAYS, Pepperlonely did a superb job; I always end up satisfied when ordering from them.

They are very pretty, but one was broken and three were very thin and fragile. Only one was thick enough to use in hair and you really need two to hold hair in place..

Beautiful product. I bought them for the purpose of making some earrings, but they were too different in size. They ARE very beautiful though. Would probably purchase again.

I ordered these because we're studying porcupines and American history, and thought it would be fun to combine the two, learning how the writers of the Constitution wrote the Constitution.These are a nice size for young kids, and they are beautiful to look at.Highly recommend this product!!!!! (O::O)
