UPDATE**. BUY THIS HAT AT THE SIZE YOU MEASURE. You can always use fillers/sizing assistance to make the hat fit a little tighter. I’m ordering one at the size 7 1/8, as I should have. Measure it a couple times to make sure that YOU get the size right. I LOVE THIS HAT AND AM ORDERING IT AGAIN!!!! I just hope it’s as nice as the first one. 🥰 I measured my head several times, and was size 7 &1/8. Other reviews said the hat was sized so that I should get a size smaller. I ordered a size 7. It came and it was very tight feeling. With previous hats, though, the brim would expand on my head after I wore it for a while. So I’ve been wearing it every day, everywhere for about three weeks. Sure enough, my hat is now comfortable and fits well. Meanwhile, since I wore it everywhere, I received lots of compliments; at least one from a person at each location that I wore it to. Someone even saw me in the car in a parking lot and yelled, ‘Hey, I like your hat!’ Since I got skin cancer on my nose, I initially purchased the hat to keep the sun off of my nose. It works great, and even my doctor complimented me on how great it looks, and how effective it is at keeping the sun off of my face. The brim is perfect for that! I was also a little concerned that the material would be frayed or would fray easily. I’m allergic to wool and most hats are made from wool, but this palm hat is sturdy and made well. So far, no problem at all! And yes, I have bumped my hat when I get into the car (I lowered the seat after that!), but still no fraying or any other damage to the hat at all.

Great hat just massive in shape. Size is true. It has 30upf and feels cooler than expected. Planning on using it for a Grand Canyon backpacking trip and it seems perfect. It’s also very light but sturdy not floppy at all.

Great hat and true to size. I love this style on me as the typical rancher style just make my head look bigger than it already is. I did do a little steaming to reshape it to more my style, super easy to do. Great quality as well.

My wife got me this as a gift. I hate baseball caps and have trouble finding other hats that fit my fat head. She read that the hats ran a little big, and gave it a shot. My head is more like an 8 than their largest size, but it fits great. I get lots of complements. I did give it two coats of scotch guard, since it is not waterproof. I still avoid wearing the hat if there is going to be significant rain. I was surprised by the stiffness of the hat, but I now know that is how most cowboy hats retain their shape. I have had a cheap felt hat, which I abused by wearing in all weather while working outdoors. This is not that style of hat. It is more for walking around than for work. The holes help it keep cool, but it is still hotter than a baseball cap. I have worn it while out in the sun for hours and it prevented sun burn even in the Florida sun.

Expect better from stetson, band fell off after a week, brim coming apart, I am going back to resistol

I shave my head so a broad rim hat is important in Australia. The hat itself appears to be 3D printed, which is fine by me. Fits great, works great, and gives a distinquished appearance when I am out and about.

Great Quality, but limited sizes on Amazon India. I needed size 7 1/4, but only size 7 5/8 was available.
