"Safe for the refrigerator and the freezer." said the description for these "Ball Mason Jars Wide Mouth 32 oz Bundle with Non Slip Jar Opener- Set of 4 Quart Size Mason Jars - Canning Glass Jars with Lids by Jar Heads." They are NOT Freezer Safe! I filled one jar 3/4 full of water and placed it with loose lid and placed it in the Freezer. After 3 hours, I tightened the lid. When I took the jar out the next day it was crack in 2 places, from top to bottom.

These are a complete rip off. I would return them but they got unpacked. The cost should be for 12 jars not 4. You can go to your natural food store and buy them individually for less. What a joke.

I place 3 out of 4 jars in the freezer without their lids to freeze some ginger water. When I came back 2 hours later to see if they were frozen enough to place the lids on 2 of the jars were completely shattered. Carefully, I took them out to thaw the juice and toss the jars. The one remaining jar looked fine so I left it in the fridge. A few hours later I went to check on that jar and sure enough that one shattered as well. They stated they would hold up in the freezer but they will not. My last remaining jar has handed regular wear and tear (dishwasher, hot and cold liquids) so I think if you just never ever ever ever never place these in the freezer you will be fine.

So I have been wanting to try mason jar salad recipes as I see them all over the internet and it seemed like a fun way to prepare easy on the go meals. These arrived timely and in good condition. The size is great. It even came with a non-slip jar opener, which I wasn't expecting. I would definitely recommend these from this buyer. Just try it!

I was really upset after seeing the same jars for 11.49 dollar 12 set at Target. I was fooled buying 4 jars for 22 dollars. I am gonna return these.

These are my all time favorite jars. Very cost effective. I use it to keep cut half onions, cut half tomatoes and left over food in refrigerator. These are dish washable and microwaveable but donot directly microwave the ones that are in the fridge. I also store dry groceries in them. Very easy to identify items as these are made of transparent glass. I replace metal lids with plastic lids. The best thing is you can use same lids for all sizes. These jars have made my life simpler as all family members can find things with ease.

This is a super useful product. Made of glass and not plastic that will leach chemicals into food, I can trust storing hot food or beverage items without worrying about chemicals getting into the food. Mason jars can be used for so many things including craft projects or catching fireflies during the summer. Something that is great to have around the house for their many uses.

These were shipped to me broken and as I opened the first box glass was everywhere I didn’t even open the second box because tiny pieces of glass fell all over my kitchen. Ridiculous
