KUFASports 200-Foot leaded Rope Coil with 5/16-Inch Diameter for Crab Trap (AF-LP2)

I ordered these rope to replace the nylon rope that came with my crab trap. These rope works great as they do not get tangled up when they get wet and very easy to reel back together.

This line feels good and looks good. Not too stiff, which allows to make common knots. The ends are nicely cut with a hot blade, and the coil well packaged. I didn’t try it in the ocean yet.The reason it gets only 2 stars is because at about 80f (out of 200ft total) there was a major defect, like a large brown cut, and fraying over about 3 ft of line. It’s not visible until you unwrap the line. I resolved this with Amazon, but rather get an undamaged product.

Called KUFA in Canada to learn this fact. Liked the product used it for crab pots in WA State.
