Excellent Value and Reliable Service!
I recently purchased the EE Pay As You Go SIM Card with the £15 bundle, and I am absolutely thrilled with the value and performance! The bundle includes 25GB of data PLUS an additional 50GB of free data, giving me a whopping 75GB in total — perfect for streaming, browsing, and staying connected without any worries. The setup was incredibly simple. You just need to activate the SIM by scanning the QR code or visiting the link provided on the front of the packet — quick and hassle-free! The coverage has been outstanding, with EE’s network delivering fast and reliable service even in rural areas where other providers can struggle. Calls and texts work seamlessly too, making this a fantastic all-around package. At just £15 for so much data and top-tier service, this bundle is an absolute steal. If you’re looking for a flexible, no-contract option with excellent benefits, I highly recommend this EE PAYG SIM card!

Very poor customer care from Speak easy telecom
The process of activating the sim was really stressful. Firstly the QR code does not scan, so ok type in web address. Get to website, you have to register. I put in my 11 digit current mobile number and it would not accept it. Message says no more than 11 digits. There were 11 digits and it is my number! Also, what if I didn’t already have a mobile? I am after all, buying a sim. I came out of the app and started again. This time it took my number. Then it needs my full Amazon order number! Which I didn’t have to hand. Why not tell me on the sim pack that I will need this before I start?! So I Start again. Third time lucky? It registered me and then gave a message that there is a 2-4 hour wait and that I will get an activation email. I am not clear if that email will mean I can use the phone or whether there are more hoops to jump through!!I only bought an additional handset and sim because from Amazon because I am going off grid camping and wanted a back up talk and text phone with a long battery standby time. It’s a good job I started the process a few days before I need to use the phone! This sim pack is a NIGHTMARE! I am an existing EE customer and this is an EE sim pack, who areSPEAKEASYTELECOM.com and why do I have to register with them? It has taken over an hour, a lot of stress and my sim is still not activated! If I had realised it was this difficult I would have never bothered buying the new handset and sim!!

Good value, worked first time no problems, thanks
It worked perfectly - just plugged it in to the phone. I like the idea of a non-contract sim, having had a fight with more than one mobile company to end a contract, somehow they seem to make it difficult to do that, I wonder why. EE is the best mobile company too and this seems a reasonable deal if you're not a heavy data user

Mixed bag - some good, some not so good
I bought this and had it shipped to the US in advance of a trip to London - I used it in an old unlocked iPhone 8+. Once in London, I was able to activate the card, and as others have noted, needed to purchase another voucher (at about 20 USD) in order to use cellular data. I had hoped that I would not need to use the (costly) travel plan on my Vzn US phone while in London, but I ended up using my US phone every day because of shortcomings in how the phone with this SIM card performed. This SIM card was not the solution I hoped it would be. Perhaps some of these issues were related to the use of an old Apple phone, but this is what I observed:Coverage in London was hit-or-miss. Sometimes, I had a strong signal and the phone worked well. Other times, I was unable to get a signal, even when the phone showed four bars. If I restarted the phone, that usually - but not always - fixed things. I was often using the phone for directions on google maps, so I appreciated that I could usually get a signal in the tube.Other inconsistencies: Some - but not all - of my text messages were delivered. Texts to people in the US were more likely to be delivered than texts to UK numbers.I tried to set up WhatsApp using this SIM, but could not complete the registration process as the verification texts and calls from WhatsApp never reached me.I tried to call EE tech support but could never reach a human being and my requests for a return call were never responded to. I visited one of EE's retail locations and staff was quite willing to help but could not resolve the issues for me. But it was nice to know that I could walk into an EE retail location and receive assistance.I only had to make a few local phone calls, but those seemed to go through just fine.Overall, this worked moderately well for me, but if I were to return to the UK, I would look for another cell solution.
