DakotaDakota Clip On Water Resistant Retractable Badge Clip with Nurse Watch and ID Badge Holder (Blue, 27405)

I was really excited to get this badge/watch combo so that I wouldn’t have to worry about a watch. It’s a nice combo, but I gave it 3 stars because I bought this with the impression that the clock would be upside down so that when looking down while doing vitals it would be facing the right way and unfortunately it came the other way around. So the clock will be upside down when trying to do vitals.UPDATE*The company was quick to send me a new one with the clock facing the right way. I love it!

I had kept buying the cheap versions of this and they would quit working after a month or so. I finally splurged and get this watch despite some bad reviews. Everything is great about this watch except for 1 huge design flaw- IT DOESN’T FIT THROUGH MY BADGE! The bulging part of the snap is on the side that’s supposed to slide through the badge, which means it doesn’t fit. All that would need to be done is put the flat side on the side which you would be sliding said badge over. I’ve had to make my own modifications to make it work but I was very disappointed when I realized this as soon as I tried to use it. Watch portion is still working great but if I have to MacGyver this to work, I might as well just buy something from Walmart

I was so excited to get this for work so I can take vitals without giving up my Fitbit watch which doesn’t have a second hand. It’s a neat little watch, but when I went to attach my ID badge, I discovered that the bulging part of the snap is on the side that’s supposed to slide through the badge, which means it doesn’t fit. Pretty frustrating. The watch is nice, though, and is upside down to aid in viewing while looking down at it.

I love the look and idea of this watch. I can still use the second hand for taking pulses, etc, but it doesn't keep time. Very disappointing. I spend quite a bit of time getting the plastic strap situated right so that I could see it the way I wanted as it hung from my badge. I had to take the spring pegs off of the watch and completely flip it around the other way. After doing all of that, I was so excited to finally use it. Then about 5 hours into my first shift I realized it was losing time. I'm not sure what the difference between "quartz" and "Japanese quartz" is, but whatever it is, it doesn't work.

I did not return it as I am still using the watch for work (labor and delivery). The badge holder part broke off, however the clip and watch are great. I am very pleased with the watch which is upside down so I can see it easily when I look down.

I would willingly spend top dollar for an I.D. badge with a clock because it makes life a lot easier. I gave my $25 to get just that but unfortunately upon arriving, the metal clip holding the unit together fell out as soon as I pulled it out of the pouch. The clip is also on the wrong side so it is nearly impossible to get your work badge on the leash. Don’t waste your money.

Product broke with very first use. I was looking forward to it too.

The clock head was heavier than I expected and the clear plastic piece to attach your name bag to is quite thin and flimsy. May just be easier to wear a watch or buy a pen.
