I volunteered to be the 4th day of Creation for our church's Trunkoween party, so I started searching Amazon for big batteries. Yes, I had no idea these self-contained, battery-operated lights existed. So, I needed a way to portray 'the greater light' and the 'lesser light' (direct sun and moon), and stars. I threw some planets in there, too. I could have pasted stars against my black backdrop, but no, this called for light.I was able to hang these easily, and the purple ones blinked, so that added drama for the tiny lizard creatures, fire trucks and other costumed beings who feasted on the candy in my car. Even in the bright sun of 3pm, these little lights were a dazzling display that made for a fun stop. I used three strands, a clear, star-shaped bulb string, a purple string and a clear regular string. Of course, I would have loved to put ten more strings in there, but the vast expanse of the visible universe has a lot more room than the back of my Toyota, so, there you go.Buy these. Halloween is one of my most favourite holidays so I always put lights outside my house. This year I've decided to host a party inside and I ordered these lights to help decorate.So far the quality looks immaculate and none of the LEDs are burnt out from my initial test. Sometimes when purchasing fairy lights the lights come with defects. I'm happy that these did not.I would urge anyone who's as crazy as me about Halloween to get these lights before the holiday. They look amazing!!!

just wished the batteries would last a little longer without going dim after a few hours of use. Decorated bottles and gave them for Christmas gifts and were well received. Maybe when I replace the batteries they will last longer than the ones that came with them. Will update later if that is the case. Other than that they are very nice.

I purchased a few from other dealer and this one so far are the best. for now. the others worked just for a couple of hours and stopped working. this are long and the price is fine, but they don't let me buy any more. why ?

Got these to decorate my dorm room for Halloween. They light up well; they don't illuminate a lot, just add a Halloween vibe without flooding with light. Takes 3 AA batteries

They work for spicing up the outside of my place to make it look a little more festive. The jack-o-lanterns are cool looking and the lights stand out.

They look like small lollipop pumpkins - just the right glassy sheen and thickness.

This product is great! I would definitely recommend it! The only thing I would improve on it is to perhaps put a rubber gasket on it so it fits snug in the bottle. It's just too loose in the neck of the bottle. I put in a little bit of stick tac and then it was perfect!
