Easy to use. No more bugs!

I purchased this rather expensive roll of screen in March of '16. I waited until this fall to review because I had high hopes that this screen would keep out the hordes of tiny flies that we get by the trillions in rural Illinois in early autumn.... but it is not to be.This is the densest mesh you can install for your windows, short of solar screen, and still see through it reasonably well. It's the 20x20 mesh which means you have 20 threads in both directions in a square inch. (Standard screening is roughly 18x16.) I was heartbroken to come home today and see that even this is not enough to keep these God-awful flies out, and we love being able to open the windows now that the weather has finally cooled off. Having purchased this screen primarily to solve this problem, you could say that disappointment hardly describes how we feel right now. This is why my review is lacking one star.Still, it's not Phifer's fault our local insects are tinier than their tightest mesh can keep out. The material is excellent quality, and shipping was superb. I don't have a clue what to suggest to others who might be facing a similar situation.I think maybe we'll start supporting our local bat population.

Finished re-screening 12 windows in my home in Panama in about 90 minutes. This fiberglass screening is the highest quality I have ever used.

This screen was easy to work with and install. The color is black and doesn't look like it will fade much over time. This was used on a cabin in the middle of the woods where there are no shortages of bugs. Keeps most of them out.

Nothing wrong with it . Bugs staying out.couldnt find screen anywhere like Home Depot so I went with this .price was same as everywhere else. Were done if yo u cant find screen in a home depot store or lowes Next time i will get it in winter.

Good quality, but does not stop no seeums. Spent 6 hours today changing all the screen in my house to this no seeum screen and sadly it doesn't work..

Being a screening pro in a past life and buying exclusively PHifer products, this specialized mesh is not the same product Pro vs individual use) that I bought when in the business but, of good quality none-the-less.

So far, no insects.
