The jaw opening of this plate clamp is 0 - 0.866 Inch, so conservative speaking if we divide it by 2 then it can handle up to 0.433 inch plate (I guess up to 0.5 inch should be okay, of course we will also need to consider the weight of the plate).

Great product at a GREAT price!

Great product. Bought a couple a few months ago and bought 2 more recently. We are replacing the more expensive ones with this one as they wear out.

WOW!

So worth the money. Saved us a ton of manpower and time. In a few hours, we pulled dozens of 6ft I-beams for guardrails out of the ground. We hooked the Clamp to our bucket and got the job done effertlessly! Would buy over and over again if I had to.
