vela.yue Precise Face Blender Brush

vela.yue brand offers hands down some of the best makeup brushes anywhere, regardless of price. Folks, this is the unicorn of makeup brushes -super-high quality even for professional level use, yet offered at drugstore prices. I've washed these brushes and used them for several months - they've proven to pick up and apply product absolutely beautifully. Build quality is very solid, no loose hairs even while washing. Measurements given are accurate, so pay attention to those if it matters to you. After I bought one brush, I went and bought almost all of their other synthetic hair brushes, and multiples of many of them - even if I didn't have an immediate use for some, they are THAT good. This is from someone who LOVES and appreciates high quality tools. FYI, often 3-5 vela.yue brushes would = the cost of ONE of my (crappy) MAC brushes. I was NOT compensated in any way for these reviews, I used my own hard-earned $ to buy these brushes. The rest of this review will be about the individual brush(es) I purchased so you have an idea of individual brush performance. FYI, I now only use mineral powder makeup products (and fairly lightly on most days - but professional level application), and only use synthetic hair makeup brushes so my reviews will be pertinent to these details.i use the Precise Tapered Blending Brush for both eyeshadow application/blending, as well as for applying powder concealer - really soft nice and functional density and shaping of the brushhead. However, one star docked for much better pricing on eBay (for the whole set of these wood-handled smaller brushes, no less!). Of course, I didn't know that until after I had bought the single more expensive brush on Amazon.Again, I cannot stress how much I LOVE these brushes!! Wish everything was made at this high level of quality and pricepoint!!* tip: some brush prices are better on eBay.

This takes a little time to ship, but I was fine with that. I wanted a crease brush for the lower part of the crease, because all my brushes were too big/fluffy. This works great since it’s smaller and tapered, but loosely packed enough so you can do a diffused application. Very, very soft, nice handle.

I like it alright. It is just a brush and my life has not been impacted too much by it.

I didn't own any blending brushes so I bought several different kinds on amazon (all the cheapest I could find) and this one was the only one that wasn't like a paintbrush. It's very soft, tapered, but mine for some reason is not as dense as the pictures or the picture of the other review. But can't complain you get what you pay for and I'm happy

I took a chance on this brush since I was looking for a pointed crease brush to blend into the crease and easily create a soft outer v shape. This came up and had no reviews so I gave it a shot. I can actually do my entire eye look with this brush versus using 4 - I use this for the crease shade, darker out v shade, it works to apply brow highlight AND the point is good to apply a pale lid color. Obviously, I have to wipe the brush between colors but I am happy to do it. Would highly recommend this brush, especially to others with aging eyelids (like mine). Also great one and done eye brush for traveling.

Exact size and texture I was hoping for. At a great price.

Not scratchy or anything but it's a little stiff for blending . I use it to pack on color.
