Bought this piece for my canopy. I removed the old one and replaced it with this one it has a longer reach for better security. Easy to replace.

Good lock tab
This tab is better than the OEM. I did change the set screw to a stainless allen head screw. This is so I can tighten it better. Also, with this type of hardware I used blue loctite to hold the set screw better. I also drilled a hole in the post so the set screw goes into the post. Then again, I'm a suspenders and a belt kind of guy.

Good replacement
These fit my truck canopy just fine. The screws that hold the unit on seemed pretty small to me so before I installed them I drilled and tapped them to take a #10 x 32 screw. I was able to tighten the screw down quite tightly and everything seems to be holding just fine so far. I would definitely buy these again if I had the need. These seem plenty strong for what I needed them to do. Hold my truck canopy closed.

threads stripped out easily barely putting any torque on the tiny screw. This product is junk do not buy

Not super duty, but sufficient.
They are not the heaviest construction. I used it for the rear window closure on my 93' Jeep YJ. Works as designed. It keeps it closed. I am not expecting it to take tons of abuse so it should handle the job I request. If you are looking for something really heavy duty, this is not it. I would suggest fabricating your own.

Just what I was looking for. Went to a topper place and they said they only sell toppers. Thanks for making this avail with out having to buy a topper. LOL!! Fit and worked perfect on my A.R.E topper.

The screw hole stripped when tightening metal too soft, not worth the purchase.

This arm is made of some pretty strong steel, and fit the t-handle perfectly. The oem one was covered in rust, so it was worth changing out.

This was just what I ordered. No problem. I thought they’d be easy to find but they ARE NOT! Dang. So, I ordered these and paid far more than I expected to. I can’t weld a set for cheaper than this myself, so here we are. These are good. They ship quick. No hassles
