Good quality hood pins. easy to install if you are moderately handy

I went with highline fenders on my jeep and had to cut the hood, so the factory hold downs were gone. These lock the hood down nice and solid. Easy to latch and unlatch, and hold the hood tight. Plenty of length on the stud too.

They work great but are small, they are awesome if you're looking for something that doesn't draw attention

Works well, straightforward installation if your mechanically inclined and adjustment to the proper tension is easy. Only issue I had is that 1 of the buttons feels super rough/notchy when you depress it but the other button is butter smooth. For the price, these are great for bumpers

I've ran these on my front bumper for the past 2ish months and will definitely purchase these for my rear bumper next. I suggest using 2 for each side of your bumper rather than 1 just for added security/sturdiness (one assembly is rated for 150 Lbs). when the product arrived I was skeptical of it and honestly a little worried. The nuts were a little loose on the threading of the bolt which made me think it might rip out and or strip the threading (Can be snugged up with teflon tape) but turned out to not be an issue ( I personally didn't use the tape). other than that installation was straight forward, take off bumper, make hole in bumper, stick latch assembly in hole, tighten bolt to frame, snap in place. I live in Chicago and we get a decent amount of precipitation. I've gone through large puddles @ high speeds with the force of impact doing nothing to the quick release assemblies (can't wait for the winter). I would recommend this off brand to anyone who is looking for a solution to bumper sag/fitment for AEM bumpers/quick release/etc. This is also a better solution to the rubber band quick release because there is no drilling into fenders which can cause rusting/corrosion. 5 star no bull review.

After slamming my car the bumper took alot of damage to the point where both sides had the panels popped out due to broken tabs. I tried different methods like XL zip ties and screws to keep the clean seamless look without drilling holes on the body of the car but it all eventually failed. So far it has only been two weeks but they are holding the bumper strong. I wish the stud was .25-.5 inch longer because at its furthest setting it is just barely able to latch and I’m afraid that it will not hold up with driving force.

Anodize fades from black to gold within a month. (I have 2 months to return so I probably will). Other than that, they look great. So far they function great. Long term I do not know how they will handle off road dirt. I bought to replace my broken hood latch loop. It is welded onto the hood, and cannot easily be repaired. So this was the cheaper alternative to replacing my hood. I did not want them to be very visible so am disappointed with the fading anodize. Installation wasn't too hard, but you need to know what you are doing. You will need hole saws, drill bits, grinding stones (remove burr), and a drill. This may not fit flush on a hood with a lot of curves.

I wasn’t expecting much from these given the price point, but I’m pleased to say that these are actually quite good. They’re well designed, all metal, the latching mechanism holds tight, and the button has the right amount of pressure for a push release. They’re the right size for a larger hood and look much nicer than the old school pins that stick through. If you’re looking for this type of hood pin, this is a clean option. Fits not quite flush to the hood skin, as advertised, and has a nice, clean, modern look. You will have to be brave while you’re cutting the hole for the latch, but you got this. The wide flange is pretty forgiving of small mistakes, but if you’re unsure…get a body shop to install for you.

I decided to use them on my carbon fiber hood, I was a little skeptical at first, But once installed and adjusted properly they are a god-send. Hands down the best hood latches/pins you can buy. came with everything and then extras.

I replaced my old school hood pins with these and they are spectacular. Worth every penny and then some. Update, without some up pressure on the hood, these can be difficult to open as I discovered after lubing up my hood hinges and the factory latch deleted which was spring loaded. The fix was simple with a couple springs added over the latch pins as seen in the video. These would be a common sense item to include with the latch kit from the manufacturer.

Work like it should, installed it on a heavy polyurethane bumper 2 months still holding strong.
