I recently purchased the Spectrum Spelling Workbook for Grade 2, and I must say, I really liked it! As a parent looking to enhance my child's spelling skills, this workbook proved to be a valuable resource. The workbook's layout and design were impressive. The colorful pages and engaging illustrations immediately caught my child's attention and made the learning process enjoyable. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, my child can work through the exercises independently. From word searches and fill-in-the-blank exercises to crossword puzzles and dictation practice, my child never felt bored or overwhelmed. Overall, I found the Spectrum Spelling Workbook Grade 2 to be an excellent addition to my child's learning materials. It helped reinforce spelling concepts in an engaging manner and fostered a positive attitude towards spelling practice. I would recommend this workbook to any parent or educator looking to enhance a child's spelling skills effectively. This book is well organized, beginning with short words and short vowel sounds, and working up from there. It is right on par with other 2nd grade spelling material that we have for our son's homeschooling. We tailor it to our needs; however, we find it to be slightly easy for his age level. This is ok with us as we are working through it quickly and will likely move on to the next level soon. The fill-in-the-blank stories that utilize the spelling list are his favorite activity!

This spelling workbook has been very helpful for my daughter. It is appropriate for her age, and the exercises have helped improved my daughter's spelling tremendously. I am extremely satisfied with this product and will get it for my other daughter when she starts second grade.

I love spectrum workbooks. As a homeschooling mom it's really nice to be able to hand this to my kid and they can navigate it without many problems. The first half is review heavy with really basic words that I would consider late kindergarten and 1st grade level. Perfect for a kid who needs a little extra boost. I also really like how this book groups the spelling words. Instead of random words, they are grouped by similarities which allows for easier memorization. Besides being a little behind 2nd grade for the first half of the book, it's really nice. And the book itself is high quality and arrived free of damage.

My 1st grader is super good at spelling so we bought the 2nd grade level. We love it! Love that there are pictures and colors. I do wish the spelling words would be listed on every page where they are needed, but I just write them out. Like that there's a dictionary in the back too!

This has been a great addition to our Good and Beautiful homeschool curriculum. The lessons give a list of spelling words that will be used to complete how ever many pages that lesson has. So the child gets to use the words to make up stories, find misspelled words, write them and many other uses. We love this book!
